2017 GP Skate Canada Ladies SP

40 minutes? Blasted time zones, always confusing me.

It's especially confusing because Regina is in Saskatchewan, Canada which is geographically in the Mountain time zone but they observe Central Standard Time year round (so they're matching with Calgary/Edmonton in the summer and Winnipeg in the winter.)

Google sometimes just mentions "Central Time" without specifying CST (Central Standard) or CDT (Central Daylight). CST is one hour behind CDT.

ETA: I know this because I googled it earlier trying to figure out timezones, and realized Regina was two hours behind Philadelphia (EDT) despite Google saying Central time which is mostly 1 hour behind. Then remembered not every place observes Daylight Savings.

On Roku streaming its the same. I remember this was the same for the summer olympics as well.

Technically for Rio it was just NBCSN/the NBC family of channels that aired the Olympics. Olympic Channel as a separate channel launched in July 2017 in the US.

Bon courage, Laurine!

I don't think you have enough flags.

Huh, good to know! Well, I'm getting it on Roku right now through the NBCSports app + Xfinity login, so that might work for others if that is the set up they have.

Time to go put my laundry in the dryer so I'm ready to watch!

Should I bring snacks upstairs? (Obviously the answer is yes, lol)

There's some links posted on the previous few pages for your convenience!

Off to watch on the big Tv in the living room. This will help with my bandwidth problem and mean that I'll get to see the costumes and hear the music in HD surround. I'm not going to brave the scariest laptop in the world. '
Have fun all and be nice to each other and the skaters.

Bring the laptop with you so you can chat while you watch!

Going to find a livestream so I can:
1. Study and listen at the same time.
2. Don't have to worry of any fluff. Don't get me wrong, I love the USA, but I love skaters from other countries as well and they deserve to have their programs shown in entirety.
