She doesn’t have to reenact all of Nicole Kidman’s looks.
I would choose GREEN, because she'd then be like The Green Fairy character that Kylie Minogue played!
I don't think anyone has done Moulin Rouge! and used that angle, people have mostly stuck to the Nicole Kidman character.
How could it be any other color than red. This is the Moulin Rouge.![]()
Yes, that could be good too. A deep, almost burgundy red.

I would LOVE to see a beautiful ocean blue. not navy, not light blue, a BLUE blue.
Looking back at the movie, I only now realize how perfect that 2016 white dress was. I would love a dress inspired by the velvet blue dress Satine wears when she gets the diamond necklace but she's not skating to Tango di Roxanne so maybe that's not a perfect match. I'm sure Ashley & her designer will come up with something stunning.
As to hair colour - Mouling Rouge still goes best with the auburn or pumpkin spice hair she had 2015-2016 and I also really liked that colour hair on Ashley.

Why? I don't know of that superstition. Anyway, even if it has some basis, tell that to Tessa Virtue and the Shibutanis. Also to Pogorilaya. I am sure that I am forgetting someone.Hope she doesn't go with Red that's extremely unlucky for an Olympic year I feel

of course, one could argue that making errors at all was uncharacteristic for them. Adding more fuel to the "unlucky" color idea.I'm curious, as well. There's a very funny video of Toller Cranston saying it's a widely known superstition among figure skaters that wearing green is unlucky. This, during a Gordeeva/Grinkov program where they wore green. And G/G made several uncharacteristic errors in that program!of course, one could argue that making errors at all was uncharacteristic for them. Adding more fuel to the "unlucky" color idea.
for me - definitely not one single colour, I'd choose combination either of:
- red to black (from top to the bottom)
- white/silvery white to red
OS idea posted on page 1 has good merit - going into more 'vampy'/dramatic, darker alley with the dress, its shade/embellishment could give another dimension to the program outlook.
