Moulin Rouge: dress color for Wagner?

But I think they really help her create the mood for the program.


Anyway, if she wants a blue dress she can borrow Tessa's one. It will be her new "borrowed lucky dress"

I don't think anyone has done Moulin Rouge! and used that angle, people have mostly stuck to the Nicole Kidman character.

While I like that idea, it doesn't currently go with her choreography story line, so sadly it wouldn't work.

This is Exactly what I want. It would be a good contrast from either of the dresses from previous seasons. It would also go with her present blonde hair color, but also with brown or red.

Looking back at the movie, I only now realize how perfect that 2016 white dress was. I would love a dress inspired by the velvet blue dress Satine wears when she gets the diamond necklace but she's not skating to Tango di Roxanne so maybe that's not a perfect match. I'm sure Ashley & her designer will come up with something stunning.

Tracy Wilson said she had a green jacket she wanted to wear to commentate skate Canada, but she decided she better not because of that superstition.

for me - definitely not one single colour, I'd choose combination either of:

- red to black (from top to the bottom)
- white/silvery white to red

OS idea posted on page 1 has good merit - going into more 'vampy'/dramatic, darker alley with the dress, its shade/embellishment could give another dimension to the program outlook.

Metamorphosis is such a classic narrative device, she might as well make the best use of it. It is there in the music edit already, she just needs to embellish them with bolder, more striking and vibrant tones and commitment.

Might as well go all in. Turn a vintage into a classic and aim for the sky, aim to have an iconic moment in what may very well be her last season for the grand curtain call.
