I too like doing translations sometimes, especially in a new subjects, like FS as for now. You can allow users to make subtitles for your videos, so I could contribute to it.

I'm just wondering do Yulia and Alina know each other? I thought they might have trained together at some point but I'm intriguedI always wonder if the Russian ladies are all friends or all hate each other
I think they know each other since they should have trained together in 2014, 2015?... But I don't think they're friends, or something.
Anyway, Julia is so sweet. I saw that she always likes posts with the current competitive Russian ladies.
I think Yulia left Eteri in November 2015, I'm not sure when Alina came into her group though..

Things we learned from CUP OF CHINA

Gaby is apparently a good singer.
Mai is cute and has good presentation skills, but under-rotated a toeloop.
Despite the fall, Yulia thought Alina needn't worry as all this is good experience for her, noting that Alina's SP is very difficult, filled with crazy steps & transitions without a moment of rest, but there are still things to improve on (like her arms/hands). She is also glad that their changed her entry into her axel.
Yulia revealed that she muted their mics during Misha's performances, because of their yelling and clapping.
Yulia says that some skaters act rudely during official practices, are inconsiderate and do not care about others who are on the ice.
Papadakis & Cizeron's Moonlight Sonata is a work of art.
Liza looked extra beautiful during her FS. Duh.
Yulia mentioned that she missed medal ceremony at COC 2014 because she didn't know, as it was not written on the schedule that she was given, and that the Chinese reps/organizers apologized to her afterwards about the incident/controversy.
Girl with plunger makes all laugh.
After 2 consecutive La La Land programs, Denis & Yulia have a discussion on who should've won Best Picture at OSCARS2017. Denis notes that Moonlight is stronger and deserved the win.
Yulia mentioned that Maxim (not Trankov) who commentated Pairs with her was yelling so much during Sui & Han's FS that he asked for permission to yell on-air, whilst watching standing up. Denis asked if Maxim tried to lift and do a triple twist with Yulia out of excitement? Yulia replied "I hid in the corner until the program was over, so no."
Skater's nickname for Hao Zhang is 'Papa Chan (Zhang?)' as he is so tall and very friendly and nice to everyone.
Madison is hot (looks a bit like Alina's older sister) and is clearly a good/not-picky partner as she "can skate with even chair"
Yulia thinks Alina can rock the tigerprint leotard, but thinks that was one of the weirdest exhibition programs she's ever seen. Denis hopes Alina didn't summon the rain god to Beijing.
Denis doesn't know how to feel about Misha's Baba Yaga EX, and the music fan in him is kind of glad the composer Musorgsky didn't have to live to see this. Meanwhile Yulia is like "Omg, what even is this?"

I want to add my thanks to the people providing translations for Yulia's commentary. I've really enjoyed reading what she has to say and I'm bummed I don't understand Russian and can't understand it live because it's great! I like her insights and how she's kind to everyone.

She is right about the bloodbath to come (aka Russian Nationals), Liza really needs to add more transitions & steps in-between her amazing jumps before RN.PS: Yulia is totally a closet Wakaba/Skyfall fan.

I think she's less introverted since she came back from the clinic in Israel. I remember reading an interview where she says something like she finds it easier to open up to people now...
