2017 GP NHK Mens FS

Besides the Gold medal, Voronov also gets the offer for Japanese citizenship so that the NHK remains in Japanese hands.

Kimono and coordinated steps....pretty.

Guys, you are seeing a phenomenon that occurs once every 17 years, a non-Japanese winning the NHK.

Well then... at the ripe old ages of 30, 28 and 29, our medalists have shown the youngsters what it's all about! Couldn't be happier with the podium! :gclap:

I hope they take a "get off my lawn!" pic for twitter later.

Beautiful images! I've got the flag out and I will stand during the anthem! :peace:

You mean something like neither of the podium men from here fairing as well in their next event?

Because it could happen

Rippon's next event is Skate America.

And Max has to go against the toughest field on the GP next week to try and qualify. *punches cushions in frustration*

This is so incredible! It's such a deja-vu feeling with their skating styles that it felt like time flew back to 10 years ago! I'm happy for all of them, a little bit disappointed for Jason. I guess everyone who played the prediction game would get a historical low score haha!

29.
The average age of the podium:biggrin:. I love them all.

Edit:
This podium is so cute. I really love watching happy (old) boys:laugh: Just makes me smile.

So crestfallen for Jason. Like really. I feel like the door was open for him, but he needed that quad attempt and all the jumps.

On the flip side, Adam's quad made my dentures pop out. Awesome for him! What a moment.

And Sergei was a revelation. He may have sat behind Dick Button and Axel Paulsen in math class, but he's our senior citizen and I am so proud of him for coming back better than ever.

Protocols up.

Oh come on, tech panel. Rippon landed forward on the 4Lz attempt.

Can we have the SkCan panel back please
