-How many people did ask you for a selfie at the entrance to the cinema?
-No one. I am rarely recognized. I do not feel like celebrity at all.
I know that Julia was bombarded with attention after 2014 and had very negative effects on her. Does anyone see this happening to Evgenia? She seems to have a very different personality and character than Lipnitskaya. I certainly hope it doesn't change her. All the success she's had the last few seasons doesn't seem to have affected her at all.
I know a number of Russian members on the forum have stated that figure skating is not a very popular sport in Russia, but do you think her experience will change significantly after February if Evgenia has the success that we all expect her to have?

Evgenia better bring her A-game to the final, Alina just scored 151 in the free skate at IdF. If Alina sorts her sp issues out, it'll be interesting to see them face off in seniors for the first time, performing both sp and lp (I don't count Japan open).
Evgenia has said multiple times that she likes the competition in Russia, and she knows exactly what Alina is capable of on her best day. So I hope she thrives under the pressure (I'll be nervous enough for both of us!)![]()
My fave is Evgenia and I think it's clear she's overall better than Alina (way better skating skills, musicality and better, bigger jumps when completed well). That said, if Alina skates clean, Evgenia can't afford two mistakes, no way. She might even beat Alina with one mistake (her score with a fall is just 1 point below Alina on her best day), but with two...
And I hope they stay good friends as they were even though now they are rivals

It makes me wonder about Alina, she is so young and came out of no where last year, is she as ready to be under the worlds scrutiny in February? So far this season she has done well, but still looks incredibly nervous when skating.
