Alina having a rougher skate. Seemed to have to work to get speed. Footwork very slow. Mistakes on 2 jumping passes. Beautiful spins though. Her youth is showing. She will learn from this - remember how Tara roared back from mistakes in her early days.

Alina lacks the maturity for that music. She looks down an awful lot, and it's an interior skate, not a performance.

No denying the talent, but something more age appropriate would be more uhm appropriate.

Zagitova’s opening move with bent leg illusion was just...
Her whole step sequence was slow and unnatural.. she looks like fighting against the natural rhythm she normally skates... then the speed changes as the jump sequence begins. To me, that is totally unbalanced and polarized Program, not thoughtfully constructed and articulated.. too bad... I think she knows the quality of the program is sub par.
