With so much photoshop, they could have just drawn her from scratch. In fact, most drawings of Evgenia in Instagram are prettier than this (further from the uncanny valley).

I think she means that as a skater, there's no way that NOTHING hurts. But she doesn't seem to be injured now... although the quick resolution of this is concerning...

BTW I've just seen Caro's superb 3Lz and I started dreaming about Zhenya being taught lutz technique by Mishin so people screaming "she flutzes" would finally shut up. I know it's impossible but one can dream

Glad to hear she’s doing well!!! Stress fractures take 1-2 months to heal fully if everything goes well, so it’s possible that she’s recovered enough to skate - NHK was now over 1 month ago and she has the best doctors caring for her. She only had a support and not a cast anymore when she want to the meeting in Lausanne.
I hope she doesn’t strain herself too much at Nats though, nobody expects her to be 100% yet

Even if healed, she wouldn't have been training jumps during that time. Hopefully her return to training is conservative, including reducing the technical content somewhat if necessary.

She trained but there was no physical stress on right foot. Her cast was removable. Also, the doctors restored muscles on the right leg after removal of cast.

It sounds like all the other skaters are going. I hope she doesn’t decide not to just because of the flag, although I understand it must be difficult. Glad to hear she’s well!!!
