Oooh, that was VERY nice from Panfilova/Rylov! A very junior team, but very refreshing. Once they get some S/S triples and more sureness of movement and flow, they’ll be ones to watch.

And besides, Apollinaria is the freakin coolest name ever.

It's very much a Juniors Program. I find the ending endearingly awkward...like 2 teeny boppers on a first date who don't quite know how to end it! Do we kiss? What do I do with my hands? Why won't she/he look at me? Etc.

Well, yes, they have a lot to do in terms of artistry but their technique is great. Nice lifts, good positions, pretty stable jumps...
Also, it's their first season together and apparently her split with Mirzoev wasn't the most pleasant one...

Well, yes, they have a lot to do in terms of artistry but their technique is great. Nice lifts, good positions, pretty stable jumps...
Also, it's their first season together and apparently her split with Mirzoev wasn't the most pleasant one...

No I see what you mean and totally agreee. It's just got a Junior feel to it and the ending just made me go all "Awww, they're so YOUNG."

But the technique is certainly there.

Dunno. Guess he's looking for a partner as I haven't heard about his retirement. It might be difficult as he found Nastia too heavy for him to carry.

Alexandra and Dmitrii are brilliant. Great flow and feeling, and omg those elements. Please, don't split, don't split...
Love them. If they keep growing we might have just watched the future champions. Such a difference between previous pairs and them in terms of quality of skating.
