I want Chock/Bates to climb higher after this quad. I feel like they've got the potential to, and I wonder what is holding them back. Music choices, or politics? Or are Hubbe//Donahue just that much better technically?

The main problem stems from Chock in my opinion. There are tons of female skaters not on par with their partners, but I don't think Evan can cover all things as a team even though I think he is a good ice dancer. She is a very attractive girl and can show facial expressions like Ashley Wagner, but her two-footed skating and shallow edges as well as somewhat her stiff back off from their music are too visible.

When you see all skaters in person, you will see the stark difference between Chock and the other top female dancers.

H/D have better edge work and smooth body movements although Zach tends to make a silly mistake when momentum comes to them.

my take after the season so far is that Madison/Zach's SD is a 'sensuale romantica' tpe of dance, full of closeness, eye contact, this chemistry spark going between them and between their movement to the music, Shibutanis' SD is for me 'fiesta' type of dance: fun, colourful, cheeky, inviting to move, dance nd enjoy the moment, sourcing a lot from Latin culture and there's a bit of a problem to say what mood/type of dance represents SD of Madison/Evan to be honest...It's a bit of everything at once I feel and that could create a dissonant impression overall. I do wish for 'Vivir mi vida' replacement (loving that song though), for something more 'Latina tropicana', more sexy than joyous

Yes. I knew she was pregnant during the summer. She was covering a volleyball tournament and she clearly had a baby bump then. They never announced anything, but Charlie's mom Jacqui has posted a few photos of the baby on her Facebook page recently. There is an adorable photo of Ben Agosto holding the baby, whose name is also Charlie White (III, I think). So much cuteness
