I wish her from all my heart to stay healthy, I know anything else she can achieve. No matter what happens at the Olympics, she is already one of the greatest female skaters who people won't forget for a very long time and I personally will keep watching her programmes again and again in the future. There's so much more about her that distinguishes her from the rest. For me it's not only the skating, it's her character, the strength and the power of will. She is younger than me but in some way a role model, anytime I feel down I think of her and get that fighting spirit and motivation going on. :agree2:

Bad because this is the olympics season lol, of course everyone get injured at some point, the importance is when and how much it would affect them. Her is bad timing, so it's bad.
Anyway getting injured is just plain bad regardless, don't even know why you nitpick on it. Not sure why many athletes would kill to get injured in olympics season.

I didn't mean to nitpick. I just feel like she doesn't need to be pitied for something that was not really very serious in the grand scheme of things. She is one of the strongest skaters mentally I've ever seen and she is just fine now.

that's called sympathy, and I have it as any human does tho ... Whether she needs it or not it's just my feelings and it's not like i can control it or I must be a god. Of course if the person concerned is here in front of me and she doesn't like it I won't show any.

Many would "kill" to have a season where they have to compete in 2 GPs on painkillers, skating clean in neither, and having to deal with an injury instead of being able to properly prepare for Olympics - Olympics that might be the only ones she ever sees in her prime? Really, it's such an unnecessarily confrontational comment to someone showing sincere sympathy for her, especially in her fan fest. Props to Ame for receiving it so well because I don't think it'd be necessary to be so polite.

I also think it's very unfortunate that she got injured at a time like this when it's going to be a real struggle to get back in 100% form by Olympics.

I would say it was incredibly serious. The true impact of the injury will only be known once the individual ladies is over but even if it turns out for the best for Zhenya, in terms of stress, it must have been hell. Feeling sympathy for all of that seems normal to me.
 
Do you know which girl will do the sp and the fs ? I presume zhenya for the sp and Alina for the FS, due to the fact that zhenya arrives today I think this will be the case. I can't find the confirmation, maybe one of you has it ?

We don't know for sure yet, but I think Zhenya is more likely to do SP and Alina FS, considering their scores this season.
 
Just saw Daniil in the Georgian delegation at the opening ceremony of the Olympics :) Guess he wanted to support Moris?

Kinda sad Evgenia didn't attend it because of political games. Pretty sure she would have wanted... I mean, what athlete wouldn't ?
