2018 Olympic Figure Skating Team Event Day 2

Hey, we're on the same side! I like Bradie. I get why people aren't entertained by her, but she definitely impresses me with her strong basics. The other stuff will come with time.

It's her first year in Seniors. She had limited exposure during this year in Big Events. She has a very strong technical foundation. As Mrs P says, the rest will come. To what extent is unknown, but still... Ask Carolina Kostner about that (we won't mention some of HER Olympic experiences, now will we? And I adore Carolina). Ask the Chinese about that. Pretty much every single one of their top skaters and teams were in the same position when they started in Seniors. Cut her a break.

Evgenia looks like she's on fire. Hope she doesnt give all her energy for team and leave some for individual

Yeah, I think there’s no way Eteri hasn’t spent the last four years making sure that never happens again...lol

Bradie's had like tons of clean programs in a row. She of course have stuff to work on, but I'm going to put my support for someone who is unflappable.

Totally agree. And, by the way, she’s done and clean and through her Olympic debut. The others still have that moment of truth coming.

Judging by some of the sniping we might see some “even with an under rotation or a fall, my favorite should have still beat Bradie” coming up.

Who will be the first?

I have no idea what the name of the American commentator guy is. Or the Australian lady. I'm getting whiplash because the ice dance was commentated by Tanith and Terry, then I thought I heard Johnny and Tara. And now it's the Australian lady and the unnamed American commentator guy. I still can't figure out how to turn off the sidebar of info I don't want to see, even if I go to fullscreen, it's still there.

My problem with this is that she's already 20. That's not so old as for her to retire, but most people start working on the "other things" way earlier than that.

Girl's gone through two seasons of injuries. Her focus has been to just get back to competing. If she can do that much after such struggles, I expect the other stuff will come along.

I to love Cinderella and I'm tired of the haters, bradie said in an interview that she really wanted to skate to this music and this was probably the last chance she would have at the Olympics and she was going to skate to the music that she had wanted to skate through for a long long time she is living her dream and she worked hard to get there so her Dream came true it's a Cinderella moment

Good Lord, she's 20. Skaters can go on longer than that these days. I agree she should skate to whatever she wants to.

South Korea's too far down the standings so whatever Dabin does won't be enough to move them into the standings. So my wish is that regardless of that, she can skate a great performance in front of the home audience!
