No disaster though, we'll see what the panel does. Medvedeva could win this with her eyes closed, probably.

I'm very curious about how Medvedeva handles Olympic nerves. No other competition has ever phased her, but this is a whole other class...

Kaetlyn Osmond

3-turn in between and a slight turn-out on the opening 3F+3T. A little scratchy on the 3Lz. Wonderful 2A with good footwork right afterwards. Clear and fast layback spin. Lovely footwork sequence and fast rotation in the last spin.

Not her best performance with the first two jumps. She will likely get dinged on the second 3T. She was still as expressive as she would be with the clean jumps so the PCS won't suffer too much. I would place her behind Carolina here.

I don't understand Satton's PCS at all.
Should be at least closer to Caro's.

PCS is a TES proxy now. It was always to some extent - but now it's not even anything but hardly. Except for Carolina, and that's because she's built that reputation over nearly a decade and can't be denied.

Man the scoring on Satoko was low. Should have been closer to Caro imo.

Poor Kaetlyn but she looked super nervous, can't even remember the last time she looked that shaken from the start during her short.

Yeah. I'd have liked 9 points from Kaetlyn, but I budgeted for 8 in my speculations.
