In Sochi, all figure skating in the US started between 10am and noon. I remember because I took days off of work to watch ladies. I'm not saying that I agree with NBC strong-arming to get their way, but maybe we can really avoid the narrative that NBC and Americans are being totally selfish and rude to the world.

I thought they were much better in terms of PCS than the Aussies. Seems right IMO

Duskova/Bidar are much more expressive so I'm not surprised the judges preferred them.

This would also be a criticism if they didn't air figure skating in the morning and still had to show it in the evening. NBC can't please the whole world. Anyway IOC should find a different network and they should change it back to the evening for later Olympics. The country isn't selfish, it's Comcast/NBC/Universal.

The IOC sells it to the highest bidder. NBC has won it for so many years that I've almost quit complaining about it. I don't know if other networks bother bidding on it anymore. I highly preferred ABC's coverage, which dates me as I expect many viewers weren't even born the last time ABC aired an Olympics.

Me too. I thought the Aussies' PCS was too high. Poor Alexandrovskaya looked traumatized and stiff for the whole program.

D/B have amazing synchronization and speed. Classic pairs qualities. I had no doubt they will get better PCS.

I think CBS was better as well. I don't complain nearly as much because of the streams and the app.

Now I'm confused I love both pairs so I will be happy with at least one of them qualifying to the free and extremely happy with both of them.
