I keep thinking that chap next to Nina Mozer is Alexei Urmanov, but of course it's not, LOL.

They also announce the USA, People's Republic of China etc without the definite article ("the"), so I think it's a weird sort of grammatical convention

The nerve of NBC commentators Tara, Terry and Johnny all saying negative, critical things about James/Cipres right before they skated. I am so glad Vanessa & Morgan shut them up with their stellar performance. With their hot connection on the ice, J/C should be in front of Yu/Zhang too, but the judges are not going to let J/C get too close to the podium no matter how well they skate.

This sport and the way it's covered is so awful and disgusting.

But really, if someone beats that because they were in the "final group", which happens to also contain Z/E, then that's the stupidest thing ever. That was utter perfection. Not a fault in it. Not one. At least not as far as I could see.
