2018 Olympic Figure Skating Mens SP

Why did Nathan attempt a 4F in the warm-up and then changed it to lutz and toeloop for the competition?

Wow! What a competition!

Yuzuru, Javier, Shoma, Boyang, Aliev all clean as a whistle.

And Patrick in in the final group, just simply more wow.

Omg Nathan my heart completely breaks for him. Ugh he is amazing better days will come gosh I hate to see this happen to ANYONE who has worked so hard.

‪I’m happy, only that Misha could be a bit further up. Well done, Dima for first time Olympic outing!
What an event!!!

We're so BLESSED TO BE ALIVE

Also heartbroken for Nathan, but this was so much better than I expected.
I hope the fS goes just as well!

Medvedeva final slay count: 13

Boyang pushes Adam out of the final group.

NBC won't admit that they've ridiculously over-hyped Nathan. When I yell at the NBC announcers, it's not usually Terry that I'm yelling at, but to keep on calling Nathan the "gold medal favorite" after the team short...

Great job by the top 4 especially. Hanyu, Fernandez, Shoma and boyang. Nice surprising skates from Messing and Aliev. Sad farewell to Denis. PCS really Chan deserved to be up with Hanyu and FErnandez. i get his tech content is too low but still. Nathan is young and with his jumps will move up - he is lucky we are in the age of IjS otherwise he would be in big big trouble. Zhou did fine too but he won't beat Chen. The content is so high compared to Sochi The top 4 willed their way to staying vertical.

2xJapan vs. Spain vs. China vs. Russia. That's a battle for the podium worthy of the Olympics!

Hope they will all stay clean.

I think that in terms of PB Aliev really isn't in this competition. But, if everyone else falls a few times it could happen.
