Not really a fan of Chen but I agree. It is strange that people are so worked up to nitpick when the dude just had an Olympic moment and made an Olympic history.

I'm very happy for him, and Vinvent, for the great redemption and OR for the LP I believe. I'm not, however, happy about the judging and the over generous scores rewarded for it is unfair for others with better quality jumps, skating and performances. Some will be underscored to make room on the podium for the designated next superstar As a matter a fact, my forum and figure skating fatigue just suddenly turned into apathy. I just don't care any more, knowing it will be the number of quads jammed into rushed empty programs plus a busy footwork sequence with not much of skating skills that will win competitions. I will not wish for or encourage a youngster to take up figure skating seriously.

See I know this won't be close to Nathan and Vincent but it is a program, it has emotions. He can hold things because he isnt worried about getting so much power for another quad. I am starting to not like skating as much - I can't belive I am saying that. The ladies are a little better.

I'm not exactly a fan of Adam's programs, but I'm so glad he could get to the Olympics and have his moments here. He's soaking up every minute and seems so joyful about the experience.
