It's not that I don't think she's unable to land jumps, but she looked tired and her jumps looked sloppier than usual - which is COMPLETELY understandable with the week she's had! I just think it's dangerous to have her jump so much in an EX

I don't think it's necessary, really, we all know what she's capable of. She shouldn't have to redeem herself after an EX, she should just enjoy the moment and not risk unnecessary falls.

I agree.... i don't like what's happening with Alina since their return in Moscow.
She was ill, she could skate a light program now.
Plus Evgenia carried the flag..... Maybe the organizers could find a compromise solution so both of them could carry the flag. It's just humiliating for Alina.
At the press conference, Eteri trashed the brand Zasport and Alina did a photo session for them (horrible, but anyway). And we all know that Eteri has a business mind so I don't think this was an accident.

As for the flag, I don't think it's so terrible - Evgenia has carried Russian skating in the past 2 years and she has played a key role in getting them to PC in the first place, I'm sure Alina didn't mind. I hope both of them get the recognition they deserve!

JMHO, but Medvedeva should make sure to have a step sequence in her exhibitions because frankly that's the best thing she does.... and Zagitova would have been better off doing her SP as her exhibition.... but oh well.
