He did a great job yesterday. Beautiful performance, almost perfect, what's important as that was (most probably) the last time he performed this SP.

Have you noticed he had rapidly lowered his jaw just before he started? I bet it was deep breath out (a way to get rid of negative emotions to calm down). Apparently it worked

I love to be in this crowd which is for me like an energy bomb and I get plenty of pleasant and positive energy from that

He's evidently an energy vampire That's why I was worried before his FP at Olympics where he performed in front of only partially full stands.

By the way, the number for tomorrow is 16, 1+6 makes 7 - a number of perfection Does it mean we will see his FP clean?

He has a hidden competitive streak imo - against himself. He usually asks that after a good performance, because he wants to keep doing better and better.

Wishing Deniss and Slavik Hayrapetyan good luck at Worlds. And it worked! Slavik made the free and Deniss made the top ten.

I think everyone there in this competition is really really competitive inside... otherwise I think they would not be able to compete on such a high level! - but I can imagine he really didn‘t have the numbers really together at the first moment...

It was so pleasing and touching to listen to Simon's and the other speaker's on Eurosport (sorry, I do not know her name) comments on Deniss's performance and Stephane.

And what is the utmost important - they both believe that next season Denis will jump quads!!! And then you will see..!

What was the problem with the jabot Stephane was trying to fix? So many nurses around and nobody noticed!!

Me too! I have a great feeling that tomorrow is Deniss' day!!!

That fan video really shows how Deniss and Stéphane share their love of skating and how much artistry goes into the sport. Sometimes you don’t have to have the most difficult jumps to attract fans. Yesssssssssss!!!
That's what I was waiting for the whole season!
Deniss was the only one among 24 skaters with no minus on GOE. And he got 13+ GOE, the biggest number of the day. I would give him more, because he was perfect today :clapper:
Shame on the Polish judge for giving him the lowest PCS (7.50? really?), bravo for the Canadian judge for 9.25 (is it Deniss' first?).

Just silly idea: if Deniss can perform so well just 10 days after an important exam, let him take more exams
