Someone run out there and give Shoma a hug. He deserves one. I'm not even a Shoma fan and I feel for the guy, that was not an easy skate. Gutsy performance, pulling off all the big jumps he did land. I believe Japan's three spots are safe. Good job under tough circumstances.

Overmarked like mad, but what can you do. He put his heart in it, so I won't complain too much.

Yuzuru skated with damaged ligaments at olympics and didn't had such horrible skates as Shoma Uno. Uno is just not a good competitor and can't skate under pressure. Until now, he could hide behind Yuzuru, but he is not there and it shows

LOVE Shoma. But, sorry, there is something wrong with a system that puts a skater who falls multiple times into first place, far above others who skated relatively cleanly and who had difficult jumps, as well.
