2018 Worlds Mens Free Skate

Redemption. Best part though, after those splats, he did not decide to play it safe and stayed true to his layout!

Nathan Chen 2018 World Champion

But seriously...what is this...who would've thought??

It mirrors Mao in 2014 perfectly. Bad short at the Olympics. Awesome comeback in the free. Then wins Worlds a month later.

Wow Italian sounds a lot like Spanish, I almost understand it.

Shoma's confused face is everything :laugh2:. And well done Nathan, not his biggest fan but thank stars we have a world champion whose hands were not acquainted with the ice!

Thank you Nathan for actually making this event watchable again, I can't even right now. Skipping the wine and going straight for the vodka.

Max Aaron, the backup of the backup of the backup of the backup securing the third spot! :yahoo:

I really want to see the look on Max's face when they told him the US kept three spots...because of Nathan and him.

But, being who he is, I bet he's backstage giving Vincent a big hug.

Nathan's programme has literally nothing but jumps damn.
I felt the same way. I guess he compared favorably to the others because he landed the jumps but... Just what is that PCS for? It's a thoroughly empty program...

It was a serious rollercoaster in the arena, everyone hoped that Nathan will save us all and he did, with power and confidence. But this final group - I hope I witnessed such heartbreak live first and last time, period.

......this has been super weird. My fave--Shoma and Satton--medaled but I don't even know how to feel--because of this weirdest figure skating event.
