A new rivalry is born https://mobile.twitter.com/icenetwork/status/986598933874069504

let's hope it won't be a rivalry of "who will screw up more"...
P.S. Is Eunsoo moving to seniors?
I'm sure both will do well under Raf, and that could be a mutually beneficial environment for Honda to push for strong technical consistency with Lim there, and Lim to develop greater artistry from Honda. Of course, having Nathan Chen there will help too. I meant previous season. I also hope they will improve.
This is different imo becuz Back then yuna and mao did not have a flock of russian girls landing quads and 3A with difficult transitions. The korean girl and marin are talented yes, but neither of them are landing quads nor 3A like Eteri novice and jr girls are. Im not ruling them up, but based on their recent results, them missing out on podium on major competitions like GPF or Jr worlds speak for themselves. Hyping them up this early is not a good idea. Let the results come slowly.I did not pay too much attention to the Mao / Yuna rivalry but I do not think that the fact that Marin and Eun So Lim are the same on the contrary the fact that they are trained by the same coach can be a force, a little like Javi and Yuzu. They both have good musicality and have a lot of potential.
Yume: I do not hope Yuka will retire I had reviewed her previous performance from when she was junior and it's sad that she is not successful at maintaining her level because of the growth.

No no im saying lets not rush and hype them up too quickly haha. Ive seen heaps of overhypes frm other forums of their star prowess or their IT factor, but imo Alena K has the same if not more starpower and artistry than those two anyway and Alena is already technically ahead (3A, 3Lz - 3Lo) and also younger.Yes they will not be able to 3A and quads or podiums but a part of me want them to continue to develop more, anyway we still do not know what will give training under RAF. And I heard that the change of coach is not immediately operational so of course that the results will come little by little.
From what I understood by rereading you mean that it is not a good idea that they change coach and they should wait for the results come little by little?
In the case of Marin change was due to the fact that it targets 2022 and that may be Raf can help for his jumps (she also practiced 3 Ltz -3 LO) and for Eun So Lim it was for his Spins and his step sequence, so if RAf can bring them that,
I think it will do them good, who knows ....

I used to root for Marin heavily back in 14/15 season but then stopped cuz she said some things that disappointed me (the way she gets bored during competitions etc).
But I still like her and hope she gets on the podium at nationals [emoji813]
I've just looked up the date Yuzuru's coaching change to Orser was announced, it was in the last week of April so I'm still hoping for Wakaba(and my apologize if my post was off base.)
Seems to me that Yuzuru was not graduate yet.
You brought up a very interesting comparison. I remember Yuzuru switched to Orser after his high-school graduation. Wakaba might choose to do the same. I think she still has a year left of school, right?
