The thing is Med won't get better under Eteri. Judges will just give the next the next and the next wonder girl as high score as she is getting. So it does not matter if she stays or does not stay, she will have to face the young girls very soon and the fed might soon favor the other over her. It is something she can not go against.I just don't share the enthusiasm for Orser as a guarantee for greater results than, e. g. 238-240 points combined, which many fans seem to believe instantly. And, the stability of the results. For me, there is no reason for such optimism, when I consider existing facts. I don't want to make an impression that I only care for points (like we all Eteri's fans do, right?
), but if the motivation is mostly winning, than high score is essential (well, if it won't be all affected by rules changes).
If Med's goal is to improve her SS, jump technique and to get some longevity, then TCC is a good place to go for.
Were there three girls better than Zagitova at World? Anything can happen once you're on the ice; she just needs the opportunity.
The new rules will only be effective for quality skaters if they change the age limit which I doubt Russian fed will be in favor.I think the problem is that Eteri’s method of doing endless run throughs is super damaging for an adult body, and Zhenya probably realized this. Orser pays more attention to quality than quantity, and while her consistency may not be as good with him, she will be able to skate for longer and with a better quality, Kostner style. Also, I think a lot of her consistency is due to her mental strength, so it won’t necessarily disappear. And one last thing - the new rules may reward Orser’s method more than Eteri’s, but that remains to be seen.
Anyone can have a meltdown. Not everyone can win. 2022 team gold is her best shot at becoming Olympic champion.

1. Nobody believes Brian is going to wave a magic wand and have her suddenly have perfect technique after this season. Nobody.
2. Do you even know how the stability of her results was achieved?
- her layout has not changed which is a big part of her losing the Olympic gold
- endless repetitions of programs - full runthroughs - over and over again, which is simply not sustainable in mature athletes. The body shuts down. See - Zhenya's injury, that contributed to her losing the Olympic gold
3. No, you're not considering facts. You're making Eteri into this sort of god, which is nonsense. She has a very good handle on how to train young athletes and hasn't a clue how to deal with girls post-puberty, and as the years advance
4. She is already not winning! RusFed has already amply demonstrated what they think of PCS. They boosted Alina through the roof, and exactly the same thing will happen when Anna S, Kosto, Sasha and Tarakanova join. New rules this summer too, so there will be a reset of scores.
5. No, she is not going to be stable now. Why? Because there will be no more insane repeated runthroughs; there will be ample work on two things that Eteri did not fix and that must be fixed. The Lz and the Axel; there will be an attempt to up her technical content, if Brian feels like she's ready.
Zhenya is getting older. This is just a fact of life. She knows what is best for her. Anyone can see what the issue with the Tutberidze group is - Eteri doesn't care about creating long-lasting skaters (might change with Alina, or one of the younger girls; might not. Time will tell but Zhenya was not that). Zhenya does care about lasting.
And yeah, sorry, but Brian Orser is a fantastic coach. He's not a coach for everyone, but literally no coach is. What he and Tracy Wilson can give her is quality over quantity, focus on overall skating, a supremely organized club from top to bottom, mental support which is a massive, massive bit so that for example she doesn't have to stare at quads while she can't do proper steps because he's aware of a skater's mental frame of mind, access to the best choreographers and they can give her their attention properly.
Is it going to be enough? Who knows. But she set herself up to have the best chance possible and she's fighting for it. With Eteri, there would have been no chance in the first place.

and used to insane training hours.

That's what I really don't see here. The utter rush against any doubt speaks for itself.
Just wait for the next season, right?
With the fact that Evgenia goes to the TCC is almost official, I wonder if we'll see her with mature programs without being dramatic or rock / hip hop programs or someday see her dance to Ghibli / anime / Asian dramas music? I'm impatient to see this collaboration I'm sure it'll be fine for her, as for Yuzuru.
Here are some pictures in addition to their visit to USJ, Evgenia's English is so cute <3
