I'm just worried that this whole thing will ruin the careers of everyone involved. It's just so ugly and public. Regardless of personal qualities, they're all great at their job, and I wouldn't want to lose it. :(

I find it remarkable that someone that is still only 15 can be so composed.

While the "adults" are mouthing off and dragging her into this mess, Alina is the one who has shown the maturity.

Your wishes for Alina are so nice Lusk8 - she is really lucky to have you as a fan.

Regarding the video.... she shows the same calmness in not commenting on Evgenia as when she deflected the question about boyfriends from the Japanese TV show.

I hope Eteri can learn something from Alina.

Thank you!!! Alina is lucky to have all of us, she has amazing fans that care for her and go above and beyond to show her their love.

You and all the other posters here are a gift in her life.

I agree with you 100%, it’s rare to see such maturity and composure in someone so young. This is a testament to her wonderful family. I hope she inspires those around her training camp to rise to her level of maturity.

You’re so right! She deserves all her fans so much. She has a very mature mind for her age. I am so looking forward to seeing her next season, I will be crossing my fingers and toes and tongue and everything [emoji23] for her all the way.

I think Alina will be more than fine. She is now Eteri's only senior girl if I am understanding the situation correctly. Eteri is going to put everything she has into Alina's success in this upcoming season. There are no other baskets for her to put her eggs in. She is going to do everything possible to make Alina unbeatable again this season. And I mean everything. She didn't hold back when she actually had a reason to (Zhenya) so now the gloves are off.

Also Masaru will be at the rink every day with Alina! She won't even have to wait until the end of the day to see her precious dog. :) If she is having a frustrating moment she can hug her fur-baby when she gets off the ice to take a break. That is going to make everything so much better.

Eteri will still be Eteri but I think she will be sufficiently motivated to make sure she doesn't give Alina any reason to want to leave anytime soon. It would not reflect well on Eteri at all if Alina suddenly wanted out after all this. So I think Alina is 'golden' in more ways than one. :)

So all this is just to say I really think it will be ok.

Alina is truly amazing, a born media pro and a great charmer, she knows how to navigate these waters like a seasoned sailor.
