At last we had a good look at the costume.
--Just a personal opinion, but this is what the RJ2 costume was supposed to look like. :biggrin: Lots of sparkles and frills, looking gorgeous when spinning.

Good morning, I did small translation of Yuzuru's interview with sleepy head :laugh:

"Its title is "Haru yo koi", but it is still rainy season now...(he burst out laughing). In the beginning, we started with "The hottest summer in the world", and then we went to winter, and spring at last. I am a little confused (in his mind). I rather feel strongly "new born life", "sprouting" or "breaking out of one's shell newly" in Japanese word "Haru"(spring). For me, it is not like the layout is including difficult jumps, but in a sense, it is a program that I am able to face sincerely the expression, the spins, and each sound of piano, so I also want to break out of my shell newly. I guess everyone has many memories in this song, I hope this is going to be the opportunity to remember them by skating to this program."

He said it was still the second day he performed the program and felt there were a little uncomfortable and unsure moments, but he was able to skate doing his best with all his heart each time.

The finale sparkly pink suited the song and Yuzu. The commentators said something like, it suits him (actually them, all the skaters) because he is (they are) like a diamond. :biggrin:

Speaking of commentary, Kenji Miyamoto was saying he did work with Yuzuru a little while ago, maybe he choreographed "Wings of Words".

I think his Mom's wedding dress suffered again...:think: Joking. But seriously- his RJ2 costume looked like it was cut from his Mom's dress and this one gives me the same vibes again. Oh, Yuzu...:biggrin:
Unfortunately I can't imagine this costume at international Exhibitions events. It's a just a little bit too much. Sorry. I know he's very stubborn when it comes to his designs but this one is... I can't handle those frills though I know they have to create an image of wings. I think he's a bit obsessed with the image of wings and that is what we see in his costumes again and again. I wonder if he'd ever been asked of what creature other than man he'd want to be. There's so much of a bird in him. And that slogan- Fly Yuzu. Fits.
Don't get me wrong. He's beautiful. I just can't handle the frills. I immediately imagine myself as a cat hunting a bird.:laugh:
 
Now I would love to hear Yuming's comment :party: (many of us calling Yumi Matsutoya, "Yuming") And Japanese fans have already started buying "Haru yo koi" of Kiyozuka, not surprising though :laugh:

But he will wear it, perhaps with adding a little adjustments :biggrin: And I'm ready to read the reaction about this costume in other threads, it's almost amusing for me ;)
 
I adore the costume, absolutely love it. The sleeves especially when he moves, just wonderful. I am hoping he is going to keep it.

The program itself is brilliant frankly, IMO of course. I can't stop watching it, and though I expect they'll tweak a bit here and there, as he gets used to it, it is already fantastic as it is so I hope he keeps it as an EX this season! With this costume!
