Using the above list, a more completed one, adding AO Trophy:
Asian Open: Sota Yamamoto, Mitsuki Sumoto, Yuna Shiraiwa, Mako Yamashita, (Dance: Komatsubara/Koleto)
Lombardia Trophy: Shoma Uno, Kazuki Tomono, Kaori Sakamoto , Mako Yamashita
US International Classic: Satoko Miyahara, Yuna Shiraiwa, Sato Hiroaki, (Dance: Komatsubara/Koleto)
Autumn Classic: Yuzuru Hanyu, Wakaba Higuchi , Yura Matsuta
Ondrej Nepela Trophy: Keiji Tanaka, Rika Kihira
Nebelhorn Trophy: Mai Mihara, Marin Honda
Finlandia Trophy: Rika Hongo, (Pair: Suzaki/Kihara)

Adding: Marin Honda's younger sister, Sara Honda will be sent to AO as Novice skater, also with Hana yoshida and Shunsuke Nakamura for Novice. But so far no news about assignment for junior ladies' and men (there should be some sent for AO Trophy but we don't know who will be sent yet.)

thank you!

I think this basically confirms Kihira will be the NHK host pick. My only complain would be Hongo left with only 2 comps while Yamashita has 4. I wish they would have given 3 competitions to each skater.
i think Hongo and Shiraiwa could be host pick if one of them do really well in CS and Kihira falter with bad performance a la JWC

With the announcement of JGP Bratislava and updates of JSF strengthened athletes, I think we're getting the Japanese Jr. ladies' team (18-19 season) as:
JGP Bratislava: Tomoe KAWABATA, Yuhana YOKOI
Strengthened Athletes, JSF:
Nana ARAKI
Rinka Watanabe
Riko TAKINO
Moa IWANO
Shiika YOSHIOKA
Yuna AOKI

On the JGP sub-list also:
Sora MAENO
Rion SUMIYOSHI
Kinayu YOKOI

It seems to be nice balanced out between skaters from Eastern and Western sections. I'm a little curious why Rinka Watanabe is not on the sub-list of JGP entries.

I'm convinced that the true savior of figure skating is gonna be Shae-lynn and other ambitious and creative choreographers.:dance3:

Marin's new SP is Seven Nation Army choreographed by Shae-lynn and her free is Lovers from House of Flying Daggers choreographed by Lori. For her SP, she said that it's a cool and dance-able type of song that she's never done before and it's super fun skating to it. For the FS, she wants to present herself as a strong lady like the leading lady and wants to show a new side of herself.:)

Thanks.
Who is Sora Maeno? Is Saya Suzuki 18yo already? I think she could have been sekected last season for JGPs if she wasn't injured. Wonder why this season she didn't get a chance this season

Oops I'm an idiot and thought the movie name was Lovers, not the song.😂 Would it kill the Jp media to mention the name of the movie instead of just Chinese movie?#LackofRespect.

Thanks.

Sora Maeno is from Nagoya, she trains at Howa Sports Land (training mates with Yokoi sisters). She was doing quite well at All Japan Junior high school competition at beginning of the year, placing 3rd (after Mako and Rinka Watanabe). I can only find a photo of hers from this old news report in 2017, and Sora is the last girl listed here (with light purple dress) as one of the young skaters to watch out: https://www.walkerplus.com/article/125912/ (Adding: in a recent competition she scores around 58~ish for SP, it's reported in twitter that she has quite good 3-3 jumps)

As for Suzuki, I'm guessing she might be moving up to senior. I find her name listed in the senior ladies' for the up-coming 'Gen-san Summer Cup'.

Wow I love all of the songs selection! can't wait to see the choreography that comes with it. Especially love Marin's FS and Satoko's SP choice

And Mai will keep her FS 'Gabriel's Oboe' from last season (kind of worrying about her condition...)

Satoko's 2018-2019 programs

SP: Song for the Little Sparrow by Patricia Kaas (choreo Lori Nichol)
FS: Invierno Porteno by Astor Piazzolla (choreo by Tom Dickson)

OK, i see what kind of tango she will do. But i thought that her music was selection of multiples songs by Piazzola?
I kinda like her music for the SP. Tsurskaya used it for her LP last season.
