This is something I truly appreciate about this forum. The diversity we have here. If you scroll down the thread and see the different flags from so many different countries and know we‘re all here to support an amazing athlete like Zhenya. Just wanted to say this because I again noticed it. It‘s like a little haven of fans from all over the world who are all crazy about one skater.

I just love Evgenia's emotion and gesture on the photo.And yes, as someone already confirmed, it's the Croatian flag. I just changed it from the German one, since I'm half-half but identify more as Croatian.

I completely agree. I love seeing so many different nationalities and diverse personalities on here. It's crazy to think that so many people over the world are coming together just because of one person.

It's truly incredible when you think about it! I'm blown away by the diversity of this fanbase.
I love the diversity too! I live in the US, but there’s actually a pretty small Croatian community in Central Washington state region where I live. It’s large enough for them to have a huge Croatian fest every year in one of the towns in my region. My daughter actually has some E. European heritage on my husband’s side — I can’t remember if his grandmother came from Croatia or Slovakia. She’s half-Vietnamese cause of me and also has some French and Irish roots too.
Anyway I’ve enjoyed you all. More excuse for me to visit Europe.

Sooo, to open up another topic: What are your top three programmes of Zhenya? EX's count as well! I'm curious to see what other's think.
Personally, my number 1 is definitely her FP from 2015-2016, her first senior season. There's just something about it that I can't explain, I just love it. My second is Anna Karenina and my third either Experience or Windmills of your Mind.. I know that Experience is not the most well-liked programme of hers (probably because she does "pantomime" quite a lot) but it's her raw and real emotions and most of her movements that drew me in. And WOYM is just beautiful to watch.

My favorite is without a doubt Anna Karenina (and more specifically the one from the Olympics), I wasn't interested at all in Figure Skating before watching it and now I'm here
My second would be her FP from 2015-2016 and I'd say Kukushka in third, but actually apart from AK which really stands out, I like all of her programs

Anna Karenina is my favourite and a large part in why I got into figure skating because even in those four minutes she got me so invested in with her I was raging at the result when she came second. Next would probably be Kushka because I love her intensity and the fierceness she brings to it without the mining and then meditation in Thais which is some of my favourite lyrical skating that she has done. In general I prefer her exhibitions because whilst she performs in both she really seems to come to life when she doesn’t have to skate strategically confining what she should do.

Yay, someone else with W.E.! I feel like so many are forgetting about this programme, which is very unfortunate since it’s so well-choreographed and beautifully performed and interpreted by her.

Top three? You expect me to choose only THREE?
Well, that‘s hard because I have actually never outright disliked a program of hers... I enjoyed them all. But I guess:
1) River Flows in You
2) Nocturne/Experience (it‘s a tie)
3) W.E
I also absolutely love Windmills but these three (actually four) are the ones I felt the most during watching. River Flows in You is precious to me as well as Nocturne because their topics touch me in a very personal way. I don‘t cry all that often but when I watched those programs for the first time (and Nocturne at the OG) I did. Huh, this is getting very personal now but it‘s just the truth. Zhenya and her interpretation of these pieces of music managed and manage to deeply move me and I appreciate this more than any correct lutz edge ever.
Experience is there because it was a program dripping from emotions. The miming was excessive, so were her feelings. She choreographed it herself and to me it looked like she poured her heart out there on the ice. W.E was simply a program I enjoyed. It had unique choreo and a beautiful story. I probably should have added Anna Karenina, too because even though it‘s not my favourite program of her and I don‘t connect as much with the music as with some of her other choices, at the Olympics it grew on me because of the genuine emotions she displayed while skating it. Yeah. This was a bit detailed, I think. But I can‘t help it. Zhenya, Yulia and Carolina - my three all-time favourite ladies’ skaters - just manage to do something with their skating I can‘t really explain without being overly (even more so
