Raf will come to Japan with Nathan and Mariah for The Ice. I wonder if Eunsoo will come too in preparation for Thailand 🤔

Not gonna lie, I feel unsure about her FS choice. I want to trust Akiko but...ugh another jazz program?!
I feel meh about her SP music choice.

Still, I will reserve my overall first impression after Asian Trophy.

Actually, i liked her music choice for this season.
I like the Ashley’s program, so sure about Eunsoo will fit well on this music.

And about FS music choice, I love the Chicago , but not sure it is good matched on FS length.Because all of my favorite Chicago program is SP.

Thanks for linking Ashley's SP. I liked it! But I still feel like it might be a bit too slow to fit Eunsoo's skating. I do hope those dance classes lend well with this program.

And speaking about the Chicago program, that is one of the reasons why I'm unsure about it. My main worry is that the program will be the same uninspired wash of All That Jazz, Roxie and/or Cell Block Tango that we see every year.
 
I'VE BEEN WAITING! FINALLY!

I'm also gonna reserve judgement until I actually see the programs. I think I'm just sad because I wanted a catchy/powerful piece from Jeff since I love his upbeat choreography, but I love the music itself. As for Chicago, I've never been a huge fan of it, but we'll see. She can sell me anything after all.:laugh: Hoping for a black costume though!!:pray:

Somewhere in time I’m looking forward to - I’d like to see how Eunsoo handles a piece that requires emotional gravitas.
Chicago however is turning into a skating warhorse IMO - just completely overdone - I’d like to maybe see a mashup (if it’s well designed) or a song not usually done from the show (a pipe dream); I can’t handle another Roxie or All that Jazz

I can’t see Akiko knowing any of the other Chicago songs - but Cell Block Tango would be awesome if Eunsoo could pull it off

Correct me, but I’m pretty sure CBT is almost never used - I can’t even think of someone who’s used it off the top of my head

Me either. There was nothing i can remember right away some remindable programs used CBT.
Hope for Akiko choose CBT🙏 Roxie was so usual selection at figureskating

omg!! that looked amazing!!! I’m so happy for Eunsoo! Training abroad really did wonders for her, it seems. Can’t wait to see the competition.

That distance on her 3Lz, and really her jumps are so refreshing to watch. Was initially disappointed/underwhelmed with her music choices but I’m starting to like her SP music, can’t wait to see her performance of it! Thanks for sharing!

SP for Senior Ladies starts at 3:00 PM Bangkok time IIRC.
 
omg!!! this is perfection!!! Beautiful SP! She skated so well! 68 points??? Well deserved! And the dress?! Gorgeous! I was already expecting her to have improved a lot this season but this is beyond what I expected. I can’t wait to watch the free skate! 😍
 
I love the cinematic feel of the program! The costume is pretty on its own but to me it feels a little too airy for the music.
