I'm expecting another flurry of posts when she debuts her programmes next weekend, and then every time she competes... I wonder if the mods will end up having to break her thread like they did with Yuzuru's, because it will get big!

I agree with Trankov, I think Zhenya has the chance now to have the best of both words: she can benefit from Eteri's trademark consistency, fast rotation, spins and level of difficulty and also enjoy Orser's SS, speed and quality! It will take time but it will be awesome.

That‘s really cool. I remember that she also asked Putin for new ice rinks after the Olympics (pretty courageous, imo) so she really cares about the development of the sport in her country.

kind of, they have connections (mostly in NA) and get exclusive interviews with fs members but they have the habit to gossip and speculate, you should take their info with a grain of salt

That's a very good point, they have pretty good sources in NA and usually get the scoop on coaching changes and suck but I wouldn't put too much stock into their "rumours" but one thing they do have access is good guests on their show like Doug Haw, Meghan Duhamel, Raf, Tracy Wilson, even Brian in the past... The interviews are usually the better videos... I think Doug is going to be on next week so that would be a good one...

Sounds good! Really good. I remember a very flirtatious EX from Zhenya from... the 2016/17 season, I think? I wanted to see her in a more playful role in a competitive program since then. Orange Colored Sky is perfect for that and Sandra working with her on the choreo... the thought makes me giddy.
Well, back to the prayer circle I go.
