Nothing important but today I was so sleepy at work because I went to bed late last night--I decided to play some figure skating videos and it was when Shomachka's Loco playing I woke up.

I went from half dozing off to fully engaged in his skating. I could never get tired of watching his skating, god knows how many times I have watched his videos. His sincere feelings on the ice, musicality, intensity, expression--each movement is precise and mesmerizing. How could he do that? What is he made of? What are those thighs hiding?

Oh right. Coworker was standing behind me and watched a bit, he whistled and said 'ooh, those thighs' in English (not even our native language)

Hi everyone. :peace:

I started casually following figure skating back in the 1990s, since I used to live near an ice rink as a kid (disclaimer: I am rubbish at skating and full of admiration for anybody crazy enough to actually try jumping on ice). My sister sent me a link for a Yuzuru Hanyu video on YouTube a couple of years ago, which happened to have a Shoma video cued up next and... there was just something about Shoma’s skating which has had me hooked ever since. I’ve now read all of Shoma’s GS thread and worked my way through as many videos as I can find on YouTube and DailyMotion so it’s about time I made myself a GS account and delurked.

P.S. I am also, for the first time ever, considering getting Twitter and Instagram accounts so I can follow regular updates there too. This is all Shoma’s fault.

Next thing you know, he'll be saying, "He's a small man but he has huge thighs." "There's power in those thighs." Is it any wonder he can press down into the ice ( like he does) with the strength he has in his thighs. Yes, he is a little muscular.

Adding -- Welcome sastrugi. You're just in time for the fun (new season) and to.cheer on the Moonlight Prince.. Pick and choose very carefully what you'll follow on Twitter (especially) and Instagram. There's a lot of toxicity out there!

Welcome, sastrugi. Your story sounds familiar... [emoji16]

Just choose the users to follow on Twitter and Instagram. Some people are worth blocking or ignoring. Enjoy!!

Iorii, even those who are not fans can't help but admire the thighs. 🤣

Welcome, Sastrugi!

People usually call me 'doctor' here, so here's my diagnosis: it's Shomatitis. A very, very dangerous virus. You're shoomed. :palmf:

Hello Sastrugi! If you have read thru this thread you know that it is a fun and happy place to gush over Shomajesty!

Welcome to the "Dead Banana Club". :dbana:

Dr H, I am infected too...how to cure from Shamatitis?

There's no cure. If Twitteris and Tumbleris did not help, nothing will... Try to stay away from youtube and delete all videos with Sho from your laptop, that might help for a week or so. If you can't do that, then try to concentrate on Sho's pre... on his fa... fla.... fli..... two-foo... one-no..... Can't find the right words... Shomatitis is affecting me, too, my memory is fading. Beware, your doctor is shoomed as well! :laugh2:

Once you're shoomed, you're shoomed for life. It's a never-ending -ITIS. You'll always be itching for more Shoma content.

Welcome Sastrugi! Post long and often :)

A new interview with Sho is going to be broadcasted on Sep 7 if I understood correctly, looking forward to that: https://tv.yahoo.co.jp/program/48642567

Translation:

"◇ Program Contents I
His first encounter with Spoken! was 11 years ago... The Nagoya-born world-famous skater Shoma Uno speaks with Chief Ishouin for the first time!! The Olympic silver medalist speaks candidly! His new programs and challenges... he'll even spill all about his personal life! Also, the (person/people) who know his true self the best will appear! The 20-year-old's true self will be revealed."

Probably it'll be Itsuki whom will spill all about Shoma's life...as he is also a guest of that TV programme

lol i'm sure there won't be actually spilling. Itsuki will tell a few anecdotes on how absent-minded Shoma is and how he fell asleep while gaming somewhere probably and that'll be it. Still excited though
