Can someone explain to me how the bonus system for the spins work? What do they have to do to get bonus? How much bonus can you get per spinn? is there a maximum amount of bonus one can achive in one program?

1. Valieva 75.81 (bonus 3) - clean
2. Usacheva 70.80 (bonus 2) - mistake on one spin
3. Kostyuk 67.97 - clean
4. Gubanova 66.26 - one UR
5. Safonova 63.51 - one UR (added one point - maybe bonus, she moved from 7th to 5th)
6. Frolova 63.10 - one UR and step out
7. Starodubtseva 62.81
8. Shabotova 62.32

If substract bonus - get "ordinary" score.

Junior Men - 4+3 combo - 2 points. Quad - 1 point.

Junior and Senior Ladies - 3A or quad - 1 point.

All categories - spin level 4 on GOE +4 or higher - 1 point.

Bonuses are granted for all elements deserving bonus.
Element deserves bonus only if Referee and Technical Controller solve that it was made well enough. For Jumps mandatory is no signs <<, <, e, !.

Bonuses are granted at national-level competitions, which are at National calendar of events.
Bonuses are not granted at Senior and Junior Nationals.

No info about this in official document. But in fact - bombed jump is not good enough.

Gubanova's program is weird, Gubanova's dress is weird, Gubanova's jumps are weird and Gubanova's skating is weird too.

Agree. I noticed her jumps became uglier, with huge prerotations. Some new technique she developed now with new coach to fight puberty? Also there were at least two UR jumps - but only one was called. And her beautiful arms movements from last season.. were destroyed :noshake:

I've never seen her club at the ice that hard to get a take off. Everything looked muscled. I want to see Gubanova succeed, but this program and the way that she struggled to perform it just seem like another stroke of bad luck.

Solid skate, 3Lo near the very end! Bit hard to evaluate performance without sound in the stream, but I like her.

Very focused on jumps, not much in the way of performance. Well, I would be focused on jumps if mine were so shaky too. No 3S, 3T.
