Combo Lift - Curve --> Rotational The pickup and trasnition into the curve lift was very awkward
Midline St Seq - level 2.
Dance Spin - nice last position but traveled a bit. Level 4
Ch. Rotation Lift

Cute steps to finish. Nice work Nick and Penny.

He has wonderful posture and this is much much improved from last time. Brought some actual personality to it. They don't look happy but it was a good skate.

I like them. Fun program.

Judges apparently went out on a coffe break. IT's getting ridiculous how long the scoring is taking.

Score: 68.90 Hmm, I question that.

Chor Character St Seq - very 20s Love her hand positions
Chor Lift - lovely position for her. Cute.

They kept the 20s feel nicely throughout with more sass and personality. Made me want to see a complete quickstep program from them.

SB for them and well deserved.

SL lift - level 4, curves a bit.
Choreo Spinning Move
Ro Lift - level 4 . zBetter than first lift
Nt STep Sequence level 3 for both
Choro SL Lift nice

They need to watch a tendency to separate on elements. But the speed is wonderufl.

Score: 78.72

Alicia FABBRI / Paul AYER
Country: Canada
Music: "Quand on na que l'amour" by Jacques Brel; "Composition"=by Karl Hugo; "Quand on na que l'amour;" performed by Pierre Lapointe
Choreography by: Mylene Girard
Costumes: Lovely lilac with appliques for her, basic black for him

Program Layout:

Dance spin - level 4. nicely done
Ser Step Seq. with a fall from him. Ouch. It was going so well
Twizzles bit out of sync. Level 4 for her 3 for him
Ro Lift with change of position Level 4
NT Step Seq Level 2 for her 3 for him
SL Lift with big waver from him on position change. Pickup was good though
Choreo Spinning Move

These two. Grrrr. They're so worried about SPEED they let everything else fall by the wayside. This looks like it was totally reworked from last time. Again, I think they should sacrifice a bit of speed to make sure they finish all their elements with style. Right now, it's all so GOGOGOGOGOGOGO ALL THE TIME that I can't relax into the dance.

Score: 78.21

SB for them

Francesca RIGHI / Aleksei DUBROVIN
Country: Italy
Music: "Une peu plus haut, un peu plus loin" by Lise Angell; "The Blessing" by Michael W. Smith; "Une peu plus haut, un peu plus loin" by Lise Angell
Choreograph by: Corrado Giordani
Costumes: Peach dress with silver bling for her. Peach to black ombre for him with spakles!

Program Layout

Twizzles - second set was a mess but got it back together. Level 2 for her, but 4 for him
Stationary Lift - slide out. Nicely done- level 4
Circ Step Seq - Dear Lord this tempo may help them get all the turns and edges etc in, but it drags. Taking the easy way out...
Dance spin - Odd grab of her arm to start the spin.
Choreo Spinning Move - which actually was quite a nice moment
SL Lift with cartwheel entrance. He's very secure (but I still want to cut his hair)
NT St Seqlevel 2 for her, 3 for him
Choreo Lift

This music is not recommended for first dates--unless of course you don't want there to be a second. .. It's all a bit much. And they are going for the drama

Score: 78.34

SB for them.

Junhwan got a little bit carried away in the club and popped last spin, spinning on his backside:), others joined popland in solidarity:)

Hahaha my favourite post of the day I think!

Those guys could learn a thing or two from fantastic competitors in Slovenia!
