I noticed that. But the spins she did were really great.

Boy, was she selling that SP. Love the confidence - her facial expressions were super on point. She came all guns blazing today. I hope she skates similarly tomorrow.

Let’s not forget..... new costumes!!!!
 
i've been a fan of evgenia for a few years now but this is only my second season watching the GP properly and i just wanted to say that discovering this forum has been so fun! i can't wait to watch her season unfold and hear everyone's (much more technially informed) insight :D

after watching the practice skates i am so excited for the competition! i can't believe how smooth her 2A looks right now, and everyone has already said it, but it bears repeating - wow at that 3S !!

I think what someone said previously was probably correct - that she wore this costume today to get in character.
 
I love her 2A-3Lo, it looks nice! I wonder how her lay-out will look like with it :think: I didn't expect this -3Lo combo tbh But it makes her work harder on her axel and still brings up her BV so it's good :)

Gute Nacht, Fluture! I will probably stay up until late but won't watch her. Too much nerves :hopelessness:
 
Zhenya looks great :')

I watched her practice programs, they both look much improved. She seems more comfortable skating them and she is emoting more, it feels much more like what I know her skating to be like.

And I'm excited to see the new SP dress too.
