What are they smoking? She is still one of the thinnest senior ladies out there. Yes she has put on a little muscle and is more toned but come on. She’s probably a size 0 or two still! Anyway doesn’t deserve any more discussion. Onward.

Other than being visible nervous at the Russian test skate at Megasport & ACI, did Zhenya have a problem with nerves in other competitions? I don’t remember it being an issue until after her injury last season.

My poor eyes say flat until last second then slight outside. But you cannot trust them I‘m sometimes blind even with glasses. Especially when it comes to edges and stuff.

Maybe I’m imagining it, but does anyone else think that Zhenya more like a dancer now. Not super thin like during the Olympics but more muscle definition & maybe a little more volume in her chest? I think she looks wonderfully healthy.

she was bit too skinny during the olympics (your hips are SUPPOSED TO BE larger than your knees). and i mean, aren't stress fracture often due to malnutrition?

She looks healthy now and has very nice legs. It is sad that some have been so brainwashed to think that anything thicker then a pair of wires is "fat".

Not always though it certainly could make them worse. May also be from overtraining, poor landing technique, etc. Dancers get them quite often in the feet and it's frequently a result of torque on landings/repeated stress to the bones on landing.

SP looking good. I‘m curious for the spins she didn‘t do a lot in either FP or SP. But jumps were looking good. Also: Brian applauding her after the 3Lz... so cute! :luv17: I‘m still really nervous for her even though practice was so great but at least now I‘m not completely worried.

Zhenya is killing it! Don't get me wrong, I want her to win everything but if she skates and performs this well thats enough.
