I have to say, Yuzu's smile here is super cute. It's an old newspaper back in Feb.

In real time, it was merely a second, and the photographer was able to capture it. More surprisingly, the dedicated fans spotted it like a detective.

It is lovely, carefree and sunshiney, and reminds us all how happy he was to be at PC in spite of eveything...

And yes, I am impressed that someone mananged to pin it down!!!

I watched my very first live stream today (hey, ACI was at like 3 or 4 in the morning, and I tried to stay awake...) and what is clear is that my nerves, hair and fingernails will NOT survive doing the same with Helsinki. The fretting for Jason, Junhwan, Roman and Kazuki was bad enough, with Yuzu (or Javi, when he goes for Euros) it would be on a whole different level.

I may have to hide and come out when it's over....:hopelessness:

I am not ready. I just want him to be happy and healthy, no matter the end result.

This is what I want for him, too. Not only this season but until he retires.

I get so nervous even watching the official practice and have to say to myself, "listen, this is not the actual performance. yet."

It's Sunday morning here and maybe we should be getting ready for the reports of his arrival, there are still three or four days to go though.

Just realized Yuzu was the first in his first podium  He really is special. And if I remember correctly, he only got 4th at COC that season, so this first podium qualified him for his first GPF.

Junhwan #Cha got the first podium in the #gpfigure at 17 years and 6 days.
#YuzuruHanyu (1°in the Rost.Cup at 16 years-354 days) and Ngueyn (3°at SA at 16 years-158 days) took less time, Chen (2°in the NHK at 17 years-205 days) and Uno (2°at SA at 17 years-311 days) more time

Yeah that's the one. he became so many fans' Romeo because of the program:biggrin:

I'd think plushy may have a gold at a younger age? Not sure though.

Yuzu himself is really an early achiever. BTW when he won 2010 JWC, Messing and Majozrov were in the same competition. If Yuzu competed at SC today, they'd compete together again and even share the podium:p.

GS was down for a while during Lady's FS tonight.
I'd only imagine it won't hold up either next week during men's event in Helsinki.

Oh no! Sending you heaps of get well vibes...

What happened? Are you all right??:(

I'm being dramatic. Heheh, it's just a bad head-cold. But it's been so long since I've been sick so it's a shock.
I'll be cheering on Yuzu no matter what though. And I've never been able to not watch the live feed or the live stream, even when I'm super nervous. I can't skip it.

I don't know that I'll be able to watch it - even if it's on at an hour I can manage, this - my first ever live stream - has proven that I'm the wussiest of wusses even with skaters who - though I do love them - aren't as close to my heart as Yuzu and Javi (if I'd been watching while they were competing against each other, I probably would have torn my poor little heart in half)

I'll be hiding behind the sofa.... I agree with those who really only want him to be happy and healthy, but I also want him to win because that's what makes him happy. Not easy being a Yuzu fan....

Fun story, when watching the Olympics with my family, my mom kept running in and out of the TV room when Yuzu was skating his FS. The rest of us were holding hands and she would come in, take a peak and then say "Ohhh, I can't watch!" and run out, then run back in and repeat.

That would be me, tell your mother I know exactly what she was going through! Maybe come Worlds she and I can hide together.... :laugh2:

Ahhh feel better. I think I can handle GP but maybe not GPF or WC:laugh: Maybe I'll just leave the room when it's yuzu's turn and come back in 5 mins:rolleye:
