Watching the skaters at Skate Canada reminded me that NEXT WEEKEND it will be Yuzu at Helsinki! Are you ready?
I am not ready. I just want him to be happy and healthy, no matter the end result.

I have to say, Yuzu's smile here is super cute. It's an old newspaper back in Feb.

In real time, it was merely a second, and the photographer was able to capture it. More surprisingly, the dedicated fans spotted it like a detective.

I watched my very first live stream today (hey, ACI was at like 3 or 4 in the morning, and I tried to stay awake...) and what is clear is that my nerves, hair and fingernails will NOT survive doing the same with Helsinki. The fretting for Jason, Junhwan, Roman and Kazuki was bad enough, with Yuzu (or Javi, when he goes for Euros) it would be on a whole different level.
I may have to hide and come out when it's over....:hopelessness:

He really is special. And if I remember correctly, he only got 4th at COC that season, so this first podium qualified him for his first GPF. https://twitter.com/max_ambesi/status/1056318146615959553Junhwan #Cha got the first podium in the #gpfigure at 17 years and 6 days.
#YuzuruHanyu (1°in the Rost.Cup at 16 years-354 days) and Ngueyn (3°at SA at 16 years-158 days) took less time, Chen (2°in the NHK at 17 years-205 days) and Uno (2°at SA at 17 years-311 days) more time

Guuuys, I’m so sick right now. First time in 2 years... I hope I’m recovered by next week![]()
Awwww. He's so nice to the young skaters. He takes photos of them regularly. (Except Raya. He's not young haha).https://twitter.com/yuzuru_fairy/status/1056303090901504000
Yuzu with Ekaterina. So cute :luv17:
Oh no! Sending you heaps of get well vibes...
What happened? Are you all right??![]()

I'll be cheering on Yuzu no matter what though. And I've never been able to not watch the live feed or the live stream, even when I'm super nervous. I can't skip it.
I don't know that I'll be able to watch it - even if it's on at an hour I can manage, this - my first ever live stream - has proven that I'm the wussiest of wusses even with skaters who - though I do love them - aren't as close to my heart as Yuzu and Javi (if I'd been watching while they were competing against each other, I probably would have torn my poor little heart in half)
I'll be hiding behind the sofa....

Fun story, when watching the Olympics with my family, my mom kept running in and out of the TV room when Yuzu was skating his FS. The rest of us were holding hands and she would come in, take a peak and then say "Ohhh, I can't watch!" and run out, then run back in and repeat.![]()

I'm being dramatic. Heheh, it's just a bad head-cold. But it's been so long since I've been sick so it's a shock.

Maybe I'll just leave the room when it's yuzu's turn and come back in 5 mins
