Based on a review of the documentation the pair team .... does not meet the requirements of Rule 109 paragraph 2 (eligibility) and ISU Communication No. 1420

Whatever it means. I'll try to find more. Random guess would be that they cannot represent AZE (being AFAIK Russians, I've seen him on some low level Russian event), but "eligibility" might mean something else as well.

Pla/Bonheur, Take Five

3T, he fell, I think he opened too early and did not complete 3 rot, but I am not sure
3Tw, ok
Th3R, splat
FCCoSp, camel, sit, coe, U, minor loss of unison
PCoSp, ok
SpSt, coe, fan
4Li, sommersault entry
BoDs, entered through spiral

Nothing really special about the program as whole. Hardly any choreography at all.

Canac/Coia, Tango de los Exilados

2Tw, a bit tight catch
3T, I think clean, the replay for some reason avoid jumps
4Li, ok
Th3R, fellout
SpSt, facing coe, good extention and flexibility for both
FCCoSp, cam, sit, coe, Y // U, out of unison
PCoSp, ok
BoDs, entered from both of them in spiral.

Much better program than P/B: some in-betweens and generally good tango feeling throughout. Not up on the level of the dance teams, but it was clearly a tango, even if you switch the music off. Definitely deserved higher PCS than P/B

Suidek/Suidek, Nidgy W Zyciu

Th3R
3T, she s.o.
FCCoSp, our of unison, but should be level 4 for som many features
3Tw, nice
PCoSp
SpSt, coe backward,
4Li, 1 hand for several turns
BoDs

Really well done. Very inspired performance and good program as well. If they keep it together in LP they should medal here, I think.

Rennik/Saks, Explosive

2A, she singled (I think) and step out
Th3S, ok
4Li, very laboured entry
2Tw, low
FCCoSp, cam sit, coe, Y // ?
SpSt, facing coe, nearly stopped at the end
BoDs,
PCoSp, very slow

Nothing except elements and occasional generic hand gestures in the program. Music was energetic, but they were not.

Savchenko/Szolkowy, Once Upon a Time in Mexico

Th3F, fall, looked like she touched down with the free foot at landing and got the blade caught
3T
3Tw, high, but they did better ones at warm up
4Li, from dance lift
BoDs, exit to dance lift
PCoSp
FCCoSp, cam, sit, Y // sit, lfS, U
SpSt, intricate, but they slowed down significantly towards the end.

Someone shouted "Aliona, return to the motherland" in Russian when they took the ice.Very well done. Intricate program and delivered with confidence, power and attack.

Volosozhar/Morozov, Adagio

3T, he step out, and may be doubled
3Tw, very high
Th3R, high, but she put hand down
4Li, 1 hand
SpSt, slow
BoDs, change of pose for her
FCCoSp, far away from each other
PCoSp

Rather nice choreography, but they did not present it to the "maximum". A bit more involvment from he would have improved it dramatically.

Handke/Wende

3T she fellout
2Tw
Th2R, ugly
FCCoSp good unison
SpSt
4Li, change of position, sommersault exit
BoDs
PCoSp

She looked like she would much rather be anywhere else during the program. Did not even try to sell it.

Piatkowska/Khromin, Tango Chak Chak

3T, so out of unison that someone must have doubled
2Tw, high
Th3S saved
4Li, ok, less of weight lifting than in Paris
SpSt, back coe, free legs non parallel
BoDs directly from SpSt
FCCoSp
PCoSp

Very nice program, unexpectedly good for a team of their level. Well done overall as well.

Efaeva/Menshikov, Le Songe de Abigal

3S she fellout, I think u.r. as well
2Tw
Th3R
BoDs, change of hold
SpSt
4Li, minor stumble on landing
FCCoSp, excellent unison in the 1st half and only minor problems in 2nd
PCoSp

Very well done. The program is very nice and they presented it well. Such a nice, gentle skating, with good lines. I liked them a lot.

Sorry for the delay, but the wireless stop working. They put a "back up" LAN cables in the press center though, so kudos for the press center staff for "fixing" things so quickly.

Kemp/King, Guitar Concerto

2Tw, ok
2R
Th3R, out of spreadeagle, but step out
BoDs
SpSt
FCCoSp
4Li, a bit scary
PCoSp

Rather nice presentation in the beginning, but really weak basics.

Obertas/Slavnov, Libertango

3T, step out
Th3R very well done
4Li 1 hand
3Tw, no catch
SpSt
FCCoSp
PCoSp
BoDs change of hold

They are improving from one event to another. It seems throws are "fixed" and now she stayed vertical on the toe as well. Good attack too.

Magitteri/Hotarek, Don't let me be misunderstood

2Tw, well done
2A, she fell
Th1R, I think it was single, not sure though
FCCoSp
SpSt
4Li
BoDs
PCoSp

Rather decent, despite the lack of technical content.

Petrova/Tikhonov, Sarabande

In their Exibition costumes for some reason.

3Tw, ok
3T
Th3R, step out
FCCoSp
SpSt
4Li 1hand
BoDs
PCoSp

Very well skated, but the program is truly inferior to S/S and they did not skate flawlessly to made up for this

Vartmann/Just, Nyah

2Tw
3T
Th3S, I think she two-footed, but it waws close to the boards on my side so I am not sure
4Li 1 hand
FCCoSp
SpSt, she stumbled on coe
BoDs
PCCoSp

Another rather decent performance. I loved them much more than the other German team.

I liked the look of the new French Pair and the new Italians both making their debuts.

The Brits need to do more than a sbs2loop, 2Axel at least. Shame about the throw3loop landed forwards.

The Russians were robbed. Maria & Alexei should've been 1st.

The comms said on ES they didn't obtain correct VISAs...?

Volosozhar/Morozov, Adagio

Rather nice choreography, but they did not present it to the "maximum". A bit more involvment from he would have improved it dramatically.

But he had his 'angry face' on the whole time.

Efaeva/Menshikov, Le Songe de Abigal

Very well done. The program is very nice and they presented it well. Such a nice, gentle skating, with good lines. I liked them a lot.

Such a pleasure to see a soft lyrical Pair a la Protopopovs, rather than the Modern trend for hard power and breakneck speed always.

Magitteri/Hotarek, Don't let me be misunderstood

2Tw, well done
2A, she fell
Th1R, I think it was single, not sure though
FCCoSp
SpSt
4Li
BoDs
PCoSp

Rather decent, despite the lack of technical content.

I really liked their attack and they had personality on the ice, but 9th with that content?
