We probably won’t know for certain until after JWC but it seems unimaginable that she wouldn’t. I’m quite certain she could certainly win senior WC right now with just a little luck.

How did she do in her free skate and what did she score? Its all a learning experience for her now. Alena has a major upside because she starts off as the most beautiful figure skater today. If she starts to develop a good solid 3A watch out!

The gold was within her reach as I expected (that fall in the SP :sad21. Nevertheless, huge congratulations on the bronze! In that field it's a great achievement. And now she's got two RusNats medals

Her double axels are insanely good.
I truly hope she’s proud of her 2 beautiful performances! All three Eteri juniors were incredible but I definitely have a soft spot in my heart for Alena’s elegance and grace.

I keep thinking about that, but the others were ahead with those quads. It's ok, Alena is working for a bright future :agree2:

If you think about it, it's really a great achievement to beat all the senior ladies even without a quad, especially while doubting that those quads may survive puberty.

Everyone is always surprised when they first realise that I guess Alena’s grace on the ice makes her seem taller
