2019 US Nationals Senior Pairs SP

Wow, statsonice says Meyh has never been to nationals and last placed 6th at sectionals... in intermediate (!!) two years ago. I'm very impressed with him. That was quite a performance for someone whose last competition prior to this year was intermediate sectionals only two years ago.

oh oops, I misread. He was 7th at nats in juniors last year. But still!

He competed last year with a different partner.

Do people want me to continue the PBP? I'm happy to keep doing it if people are finding it helpful but if not then I won't. Multitasking calls, and I've not been feeling great today so my productivity has been low. :/

I think it was a training location issue of being in Canada

That's a diplomatic answer. :) I believe according to the article about Marissa in The Edge, the partnership ended when Mervin told Marissa was leaving for a tryout with another skater.

People always appreciate it but if it is too much then you should stop. Don't overdo it.

Aw, thanks. :o: It's not too much! It's just time-consuming, so it's more a question of efficiency. I don't mind doing it and it's really nice because it makes me pay attention and learn what the steps are exactly. It's more like if it's NOT useful, then I'll just tackle other things, you know?

But! I shall carry on

Oh, and I still have both a stream and sound, FWIW.

I still don't get why Mervin would pick another American to skate with. If he won't live in the U.S. he will not get residency so unless she moves here they will never be able to go to the Olympics. What surprises me is that he didn't do what Dylan did and find a Russian lady because that pool is very deep and there has to one who would be willing to have dual citizenship like Lubov did.

So cool, Meyh and Liu.

I think I saw him live in Philadelphia Int. when he was with Sarah Rose in Jim Peterson’s camp, but so sad I can’t remember:drama:

For several years Skate Radio was available during the programs. Does anyone know if that is still available.

Very much appreciated!!!

Maybe his topi priority isn't the Olympics. I loved his skating when I saw his and Marissa's Journey program

Sending positive vibes to my favorite pair girl Alexa...I just love her!! She looks so happy in her recent Instagram pics and posts
