Back straddle hand to hand lift / 2tw is low but fast & clean / thr 2s / 2f2t seq / sbs spins matched in pos - little out of sync at times / spiral into axel lasso lift that didn't go up / sbs 2z / fids with change of pivot by him is nice / he needs to work on his spiral - hers is quite nice / thr 2l / O ftwrk is nicely done moves well with the music and in unison until she had a bit of a slip / pair spin had some nice positions /

2tw is clean but not high / thr 3 sal step out / sbs 2a she singled / back s bs camels are very close together - rest of spin had matching pos but out of sync for a lot of it / axel lasso lift that didn't look really steady at start but ok after 1st rev / sbs 2t2f sequence in sync / hip lift to star in catch-foot pos / thr 2l landed pretty much on 2 feet / spiral pos match well and carry good speed through the seq. step sequence was quite nice / fids with a bunch of revs and her in very low pos / pair spin into closing pos had nice oppsing camel pos - good extension by both /

Sbs 2a great sync / 2tw / hand to hand loop lift - lovely air pos by her - he moves very well if a little slow / thr 3s / sbs spins have nice matching pos but out of sync for most of them / spirals match well but are somewhat slow / thr 2l - she hung on / 2f2t seq / step lasso lift to star / pair spin - didn't really see it - trying to write too much / O ftwrk matched well with each other & music / bods / they ended a fair bit ahead of their music /

Sbs 2a not pretty but clean I think / thr 3s - didn't quite see it - something not right / 2tw was good / axel lasso lift was very nice - moved well across ice with good air pos / didn't see the pair spin - sorry - been a long day / group 4 lift looked a little unsteady on his part to me / O ftwrk - sorry didn't see it - I'm getting way behind trying to write and watch / missed something / spirals matched nicely / thr 2l / sbs 2f 2t seq - not really pretty on the f by either but clean / bids is very - low pos by her and nice pivot by him /

Thr 3l rotated but landed on toe and both hands down / 2tw is nice / 2f2t seq - great unison / axel lasso lift with very nice pos by her / bods / one armed hip lift to star / thr 3s fell / spirals - his needs work / sbs spins excellent sync and just the right distance apart - his camel needs better extension / sbs 2z / strt ftwrk was going quite well til near the end where the steps didn't match / pair spin ends the program /

Music: Island of THroatcutters (soundtrack) light fushia tops with navy bottoms
Thr 3l is huge / 3tw rivals the senior Chinese teams - huge lateral / 3t2t seq - didn't see it busy writing about the 1st elements / music softens axel lasso lift with lovely air pos / spirals match well / thr 3t / fids with change of hand - not fussy on her entrance 'sits' but rest is excellent / sbs 2a he was pitched forward on landing but clean / hip lift to star - he seemed a little jerky on the turns / sbs - spins - didn't really see them / O ftwrk matches well / pair spin to end / there were times when the music just completely overpowered them but they sure have some spectacular elements.

Music starts with snare drum rolls then in circusy just before their sbs 2a she fell / down the ice for sbs 3t2t seq - well done - good sync / thr 3sal - step out / 2tw is clean with arms overhead on catch / hip lift with multiple pos changes - very smooth feet by him / spirals carry good speed and match well / thr 3toe step out / step overhead to one hand / sbs flycam to catch knee to leg at side - very close - pos matched out of sync for a couple of revs but got it back / O ftwrk flows very well with the music / bods needs to be much lower / pair spin made some nice shapes with their pos /

3tw is well done / thr 3l step out or fall -= can't remember / sbs 2a she 2ft / I'm getting glost here because there's been a lot of mistakes and I'm trying to write them and watch / lasso lift was very nice / thr 3sal fell / 2f 2t seq she fell on one of the jumps / can't remember the lift or the bods / sbs fly spins ended up out of sync near the end / strt ftwrk music has the crowd clapping but they aren't quite keeping up with the music / pair spin is well done / spirals are the last elemnt and they're excellent /

Nice bit of chor in place to start / step overhead with lots of revs - bit of snow flying from his feetthough / sbs 2s / thr 3s landed right on beat of music - perfect / 2tw is clean / sbs 2a hop 2a - nice sync / great speed & flow / back hip lift to one hand / music softens for bods with change of pivot that didn't really happen - he never got his pivot foot in again / thr 3l - she almost hung on to it but stepped out / spirals are nicely done / sbs flycam to fast sit upright ch sit upright - very nicely done - perfect sync / strt ftwrk doesn't quite build as much as the music wants it too - good sync though / pair spin is a little on the slow side - nice pos /

3twist from pendulum entrance / thr 3l - lovely / sbs 2a bit far apart not sure if she doubled or singled / step overhead with 2 changes of direction of rotation and change of pos - wow / sbs flycam are close together with great sync and fast - lost sync on the last leg at side pos / sbs 2l turns 2t / spirals with very nice pos - great extension / thr 3s - she put her free foot odwn to save landing / bods with change of hand and flip exit - fast / hp lift with pos variation s / sbs ftwrk is right with music - has the light & almost bounciness of the music / pair spin finished quite a bit ahead of the music - somehow their positions in the spin emphasized their size difference /

American

The American pair gold medalists' scores were grossly inflated. Can't believe they don't even have two throw triples, and there's no sbs triples either. There's no way they can get that sort of PCS and overall score of 101 at Sr. level with such weak technical content.

Good recovery from Li & Xu after that dismal short program.
