First, Dreamz and Cassandra drank it first. They obviously felt like they didn't need anyones help.
I thought it was cruel to make and drink the "good" coffee in front of Dre and Casandra. They were probably not offered any either.
I bet there was the offer, likely phrased with a "do you know what to do there?" or "need a hand?" - Stacy, I doubt Lisi said anything - and it was denied. I believe that 2 were feeling ostracized and bitter refusing the help and the other 2 were not going to go out of their way to help people who are reluctant. It isn't girlscout camp.
Coffee with a few grounds in the bottom, BIG WHOOP! I have a few times had Turkish or "cowboy" coffee and it is just fine if you don't "have to" have the very last little bit in the mug.
Sorry Sean, but I wouldn't know how to use that coffee press either. Why didn't Stacy or Lisi just say.........I'll show you how. No harm in that.
DEE, you are not on survivor (hence not needing to possess the "puzzle solving talent" necessary on survivor) and I bet if you walked into a store with one and looked at it for a second I am sure you could figure it out. I am positive you could.
I think Dreamz and Cassandra also COULD have, but they let their propensities convolute their rationality.
The only difficulty would be to know how much coffee - coffee drinkers should know water to coffee ratio. And here it is - the "your fault for not asking" vs the "your fault for not offering help."
I have drank press for a long time now, but the first time I had the press in front of me and I thought for a second, "coffee goes in, water goes in, screen goes on top (where else would it go if you want to separate the grounds from what you are pouring?) push down on the screen via the big old shaft now sticking up to put the grounds on the bottom and pour.
Now I am not saying that everyone should be able to figure this out - there are only two parts to a coffee press and it is together when you get it (minus the coffee and water) - but if it is in front of you and
you are on a show that you are expected to solve a puzzle or two in the duration, this should not be beyond your capabilities.
I thought Alex was going to pull his hair out trying to explain why Dre and Casandra were important to the tribe. Boo was like......huh.....say it again??
Well if they can't understand that, they probably failed to understand the instructions of the coffee press.

Stacy's look was fulfilled with "fine, don't want my help and now you are complaining about a small amount of ground in your mug? Not going to let their sour attitude ruin the game for me." Lisi I don't know, but it seemed selfrighteous in that she picked the right people to get along with.
The reaction could be a advantage or a disadvantage. But it got under Cas's skin - so be the game. I do like Cassandra and I am surprised how much I am liking Dreamz (especially after kicking Rocky's butt

) but Cas let it get to her, and IMO that is not a good game. Like Rocky's bad temper, not good game strategy to win.
