Nathan’s ability to adapt is so incredible. New rules, new coaching situation, new school - he somehow has managed to adapt so quickly and do everything at the highest level ... seemingly with ease!
Even having his spring break plans derailed seemed to be no problem - and jump issues quickly resolved in the few days in Japan with Raf. Might have been Raf’s magic - but Nathan’s turnaround time is amazing.
While always staying true to his truly nice and humble self, and always wanting to further improve.
He really is deserving of all the gold medals and accolades:luv17:

Congrats Nathan!!! So happy for him. He is just unreal, super human! And he's not only super talented, athletic, musically inclined, smart and cool, but maybe best of all he's so classy! I love all his comments and his respect for his fellow competitors and the fans. What a great representative for America!! :luv17:
Skate America will again be held during Yale’s fall break and NHK during Thanksgiving break.
GPF will be in Torino!
I'm pretty sure it's the hosts who choose first. In other words, NHK chooses Yuzu, SA chooses Nathan, maybe China chooses Vincent?

It's both. Nathan gets to select his preferred pics and the host gets the final say. Because there is so much behind the scene politics over so many skaters getting placed, JSF will agree because they get to chose Shoma as well. IRS fine, Yuzuru didn't go to Japan last year either.

Nathan at NHK would be incredible, though I doubt JSF would want him to get in Shoma's way
Shoma also gets to pick his preference since he's seeded. If he says he wants NHK, they'll be inclined to give it to him. However, they will informed him that Nathan will be there and give him the chance to pick something else.
