Hahahahah that, or that Yonezu Kenshi's album is just really good. I do wonder if Shoma got some music recommendations from Team Japan! He listens (listened?) to back number, which Kanako Murakami likes, and Yonezu Kenshi is Yuma Kagiyama's favorite.

Quite likely! also Yonezu Kenshi seems to be a huge favourite among young people in Japan in general, so it's likely to be a feature in most teenagers' and young adults' playlist.

I wonder now if there's gonna be a YK number in SOI..hm...

Omg I can’t wait to see pics!! But Winter...What, why, how? I wonder if he had a costume left from last year or the new one is a version of MS, I don’t see why he would have a new costume for Winter

Honestly my guess is that it's a second version of MS (probably by Mathieu Caron, looking at the color and draping technique- the sparkles is also different from the ones Satomi Ito usually use) that Shoma has not used... yet.

As for why it's used for Winter, it's probably because his grey Winter is still at the Toyota Museum alongside Blurandot, I think; and his purple Winter costume is probably... displayed? Somewhere but I can't remember where. IIRC I think it's with Yellow Turandot at Chukyo/Demi-san's office/center (the one that displayed a Soohorang plushy in is arms, but backwards) but I honestly have no idea.

Kaori did Moonlight Sonata at SOI so maybe Shoma didn't do Moonlight because there will be... double Moonlight lol XD

Oh my God, there's a lot of maybes. I hope this is okay to post.

That costume looks really good on him! Subtle and elegant, with just enough sparkly stuff to make it twinkle, without being over the top. I do think it fits Moonlight Sonata. I like it better than the current Moonlight costume, actually.

Wow :luv17: the draping reminds me of Greek statues. And it's really form-fitting even with the drape.

I'm loving the many costumes this season ahahah, there are so many different styles he's trying, it's like an experimental costume season :luv17:
 
I would love to wake up to news like this every morning! :dbana: Don't know if it was confirmed that that's a Caron costume, but it sure looks it. It is so beautiful, and I can only imagine how gorgeous and "float-y" it looked when he skated in it. The sparkles, the mesh, the neckline. :dance2: I love it! Was surprised to hear he skated to Winter, but I'm sure the audience enjoyed it. That program was very popular. I also hope that being around some friends and fellow skaters will lift his mood, although he seems to be doing ok.

Thank you for everything that was posted. I especially love how he doesn't care about trying the foods. He's so funny and so polite, even when he's not interested in something. :luv17:

FYR, Shoma's display at Toyota Museum was ended (at Feb 2019..sth like that), not sure what will be up next.

My first thought was Moonlight Sonata too! :) Especially with the dark colours and sparkles.

I would be over the moon if he took it to WTT! :laugh:
