Does he have responsibility to do the ice shows? Like I mean sponsorship responsibilities? In my very bad memory he has done at least some shows every summer right?

Oh Yuzuru...news of his injury unfortunately does not come as a surprise; it feels like he is always pressured to come back from an injury because a big competition is coming up. I hope if he can take more time off, now that Worlds is done, that he does.

His nicknames were Yuzupon, Pon, and Yunyuru Sorry, but Yunyuru is too funny I remember Mao once called him "Yuzupon" on TV, and there is also famous product called "Yuzupon" which is always in my refrigerator.(http://www3.mizkan.co.jp/sapari/product/group/index.html?id=05006&sid=05) It seems he still likes playing baseball, I hope he'll be able to go batting center (cage?) freely someday. I like his interviews about figure skating (of course!), but I kind of wanted to read something like this for long, to get to know him more. He thinks he is a lazy bum while being 2 time olympic champion.

There really is no good translation for the word he used. It's usually translated as selfish, but it means that in the sense of doing what you want and refusing to be stopped by others or circumstances... Like the things he does that make fans joke about Brian's hair. It doesn't refer to greed or stinginess or anything like that, although that could be a manifestation of it (clearly not in Yuzu's case). I think headstrong would be a much more accurate translation in this context.
