Oh I would not say that her learning quads is not likely, I fully believe she will do them in the next 3 seasons to come, she is much to stubborn, much to hard working to not do it.

I remember, there was footage, she went there even with her broken foot, just stretching and working out to keep in shape. But I‘m not entirely sure of course.

I think she meant that she's not back in training or doing anything rigorous to allow her injury to heal. But she was doing some light exercises/physical activities during her Nike event, there's a little bit in this video - https://www.instagram.com/p/BwFLavpovMR/

Oops, I meant now, I corrected it. I think she won‘t learn quads this off-season, as in, her 4S will likely not be ready when the season starts. Of course she‘ll try them in the three seasons to come, it‘s Zhenya we‘re talking about. And if there wasn’t this injury, I would be much more confident that we‘ll see an attempt this season already. But now she‘s got to heal and recover first and then focus on working on the programs and getting her jumps stable again. I fear that she might not have enough time. (again!! why does it have to be like that...)
 
She has ice shows coming up , so no need to aggravate her injury now. She would not be training a quad until June anyways. We will know more when she is in Korea. When is the Korean ice show?

Same! She did bring back the cross-grab I spiral this season, in the tango, but removed it in the end... don‘t know why. Her choreography of the FS in general changed a lot throughout the season. The program at test skates is a totally different one than the one she showed at Worlds. It seems like only the music is similar! Zhenya‘s cross-grab I spiral was iconic, I wish we could see it next season again...

I fear we won‘t ever see the biellmann again. I have to admit, it‘s my favorite spin variation and I miss it dearly in her programs. But given her back issues, I‘d rather have her remove it than worsen the injury. Health comes first.

Already? Wow, time flies. Yes, that could be. But I thought she just said she‘s barely allowed to skate right now? And now she‘s already doing a show? I‘m confused. :scratch2: :laugh:

But either way, Ice Fantasia is always nice. And I guess there will be many skaters from Team TCC... so, hopefully she has lots of fun.

Ice Fantasia is from April 19 - 21 - so I suppose that's where she's going? There would be rehearsals before that.

There hasn't been any announcement that she's withdrawn from it (at least not that I have seen). She will reunite with Brian for the first time since Worlds, so that's reassuring.

Also, Shae-Lynn will be the choreographer of the show. Maybe they could talk about her programs for next season....

Yes, that makes sense. And I don‘t think she‘ll withdraw...I mean, where else would she be flying to? And if she only skates, without jumps and not too many spins, it should be fine. She probably talked with her doctor beforehand.

Wasn‘t Ice Fantasia where she first talked about the coaching change in person with Brian last year? It would be a great opportunity to talk about a choreographer change (from Wilson to Shae-Lynn) this year....

Bobrova is Evgenias real BFF when some of us thought it was someone else. Lol. But I can't read Russian so what did she say?

As for Zhenyas injury I'm sorry she is still injured. That's no way to go into the offseason and as others have pointed out this is a very important offseason for her.
