An unusual question

Alaska IS a Red State after all.

Do you mean a Communist State???

Just joking!!! It's funny, because in Europe if you say red country or red state it means a country or state with far left policies!! We say that China is a red country, or that Bologna and Florence are red cities. On the other had we say white country or white city if the Christian party wins. We say Sicily is a white region, Verona is a white city. And so on...

So I'm curious, why did you use the name "red state"?

Ouch...as a guy who skates and made the mistake once of going skating wearing loose boxers.......i went to do back cross overs and ....never again made the mistake of wearing loose boxers while skating!

In America (The 50 "United States", just in case anyone has forgotten, hehe), a state is RED if they elect a conservative President or a majority of conservative Congressmen.

I dunno, the underwear doesn't really matter to me. It's all about the jockstrap.

I would have filled it with something other than a lot of two-footed, slow skating.
Yes, I understand that it is literally a "Sad Waltz," it still could have been more interesting.
I can appreciate many types of passions, and lots of different kinds of programs. This one, quite simply, elicits virtually no response when I watch it. And yes, I understand how CoP works. Just because I don't like a program doesn't mean I don't understand the judging system. It means I DON'T LIKE THE PROGRAM.

So, which programs did I find interesting or exciting this year? I loved Denkova & Staviski's FD. Gregory & Petukhov's "Adam & Eve" FD was incredible, probably my favorite program of the year. Navarro & Bommentre's FD, very fun to watch (technically not so difficult, but they are so smooth and are such great performers). Just a few of my favorites. All very different, but all enjoyable and interesting.
I can understand your opinion of V&M. My opinion would be entirely opposite.

I wouldn't compare this young team to Denk/Stav who have been superative for many years. I think Nav/Bom are a great new team, too. They have the joy in dancing which doesn't go over with people who love sturm and drang.

Davis and White; and Virtue and Moir are the new teams on the block. I love them both and time will tell how far they go and which will be the leader. I don;t need anyone's prediction on this. I need more time and competitions to see what happens. I never come to a conclusion on one competition.

A dance belt is much better than a jock strap.

Same in Italy, until 1992 the Communist party was red and Christian Democrats were white.
Now the center-left coalition (social democrats) is red and the center-right coalition (conservative) is blue.

I'm told that traditionally in tracking presidential elections, that red and blue alternated from one election to the next, so that democrats were blue in 1992 and red in 1996, but after the 2000 electoral meltdown with the maps being shown forever and ever and ever with no end that the democrats = blue and republicans = red was too burned into people's consciousness to go back to alternating them.
