Even with 2 quads she will not score more than 200 points so I don't think it's worth it. I would have done just a double lutz for fan delivered the rest of my program and leave.
 
I think Anna was underscored as well but I also think that should she continue to skate well then her score will rise accordingly. Sometimes I think the judges want to see Juniors prove themselves as Seniors- that doesn't mean its fair. I don't think she should worry though- as long as she skates well her scores will improve.

Lol. Yes, that score is a joke, but Anna should fight for podium anyway. And I bet Lombardia trophy will hardly see Eteri girls again
 
Why are people so surprised? Junior don;t get high PCS right off the bat in SP, but they do get higher PCS in FS. For comparison Zagitova she recieved 31/68 in her senior debut, Kihira recieved 31/66. Im guessing Shcherbakova will get 30/66-67? probably more if she can get her quad done cleanly. As for Liza getting higher PCS...she didnt deserve it but many skaters have get the same thing, score they didnt deserve. For example Wagner getting higher PCS than Medvedeva in 2016 WC... it happened many times so i dont expect it to change anytime soon.
 
Very surprised to see so many people on this thread acting like it is the first time a skater has ever been under or over-scored. This is figure skating. It happens all the time. Maybe Anna was unimpressive in person today and we just didn't see it through our screens? Maybe judges don't like the program? Maybe it was a political message from Mishin? Maybe a bit of both? Who knows. It was one program at a Senior B, and Senior B scoring is weird all the time.

Figure skaters are not entitled to a certain level of score at every competition they skate in. You don't get to show up, skate clean, and automatically get 9s and 10s in everything, no matter how well you skated last season. Of course we see that reputation matters sometimes, but a junior reputation matters less than a senior one. I'm sure Anna and her coaches know that.
 
I'm very curious to find out what Liza's free skate layout will be. What she did at the test skates left me a bit confused.

Also, tomorrow the last group of Chelyabinsk and Lombardia free skates are going to be within an hour or so. Must be an exciting evening for those in Europe.
 
Anna still seems a bit coltish to me. I think there's too much movement that doesn't relate to the music, and her bent picking leg on the flip and lutz looks a little sloppy. I'm sure she'll improve as the season progresses.

I'm pretty sure they won't let Anna win this, even if she lands a quad while Liza falls on one of her axels.
 
Look here, 6:24 mark, Anna is shocked, Daniil doesn't understand the scores either. I've watched some performances and Lombardia is a badly organised competition. Anna is the current RUSNAT champion, here she had a good program, maybe not stellar, but she was hugely underscored.
