Warning: long post coming up but I just wanted to put this down somewhere.
This past week was a long one, but after it ended, it feels like everything went by in a flash. I didnÂ’t know how to quite put into words the feelings and impressions I had on and surrounding Yuzuru at 4CC.
Starting from the discovery of his program change, the anxious yet exciting wait for his first practice, forgetting to breathe and minds going blank watching the SP, the elation when it dawned on me what just happened in front of my eyes, walking out the stadium through a stream of equally elated fans (a stark contrast to Saitama), the anticipation and some more anxiety leading up to the Free (particularly on the 30s cut and 4Lz), watching SEIMEI which was the second program of Yuzuru that I watched on yt - the very program that sealed the deal for me becoming his fan, worrying that he would again be hard on himself, feeling relieved when I see that his expression is not grim and that he seemed genuinely happy at the victory ceremony and the gala, being in awe and gasping at the breathtaking Hope & Legacy, and ending with feeling grateful to have witnessed this whole ‘journey’ at 4CC. Finally, reading the translations of his post 4CC interviews really put my mind at ease. It really does seem to me that the clouds have cleared up in his head/heart. I am very happy for him and am looking forward to witness this journey of his and where he will take us.
I will now go back to being sad the whole thing is over. Sorry for the long post.
