let's see, there is some upheaval in Russian Ladies so who knows, we could see some surprises....
If I'm not mistaken this is the first time cheated take-off is regulated in the rules and at the same time we have plenty of examples of such jumps in the top ladies

Imagine how much more time she can put into training the 4S if the aim is to drop the lutz completely. That’s a dream come true. She would probably be better off points wise going for an under rotated 4S than a lutz with the edge calls she usually gets. I think this is a very positive change for Evgenia!

I agree too. Moreover with Orser in general her technique improved a lot and there are no more full-blades

She still would need a Lutz. No Lutz means around 3 points less in BV.

Guys, I will miss MOAG. It's such a great program, it's truly my favourite program (well, Anna Karenina is but it's too painful to watch it). I lowkey want her to keep the program ahah
But I'd like her to lose the dark gloves
I hope she skates it for the Olympic season.

if I look at it Japan only has around 15 thousand official cases of these cases over 8 thousand are already healed so from my point zhenya is quite safe their at least compared to Canada or not to mention russia. So all in all I have to say i am glad she is in Japan.

I thought you could repeat a triple as long as it is in combination? Or do you have a limit on the amount of triple jumps you can complete so two have to be doubles?

Ahh yeah I didn’t even consider I had repeated three. I think the most she could do without a lutz would be 48.6 then.

How much would she get deducted for an edge call and negative GOE on the lutz. Would it be worth including it for the extra 2.4 points or leaving it out? I’m so excited to see what she does in terms of content layout next season in light of the scoring changes!
