I herd by dunffvanstorn insider that the RJ program was captured by Dudakov on a midsummer night dream in Novogorsk and was send secretly with pigeons to Kislovodsk bypasing the watchfull eye of the evil.

Did Darya get R & J? If so I wonder if the R & J program EG gave dariya would put too much pressure on this girl if she gave her that program just to get back at Sasha. No athlete would want to do that to be used like that.

But how does music selection help to get back at someone?
I’m still failing to understand, same with Kamila’s program. Did it help?

I'm not completely sure but I think Sofia defeated the three Eteri's girls (K-U-V)on their novice level time.
With a 3A and 4S on her FS she can make Kamila nervous at Junior Nats and pass over Alyssa Liu at JWC.

Yes, she won Moscow qualifiers for the novice nationals in 2019. Kamila took silver. Maiia came third and Daria came fifth.

It's freaking Romeo and Juliet, one of the biggest warhorses... It wouldn't be surprising if there's another 5+ programs with this music this season, actually it's expected... It's nothing new, unusual or suspicious

With boys we've seen 3 Queen programs, two of them used Don't Stop Me Now and Bohemian Rhapsody pieces. Conspiracy!

But what was the point really for these test skates for juniors? There is no JGP, and everyone will be at the Russian Cup stages anyway, right? And the spots for JW will be decided after Nationals anyway, so what was the point?

Probably just to show us some skating finally.. But just 6 skaters was really disappointing. Could have invited Gorbacheva, at least...

Yes, I agree. That happens many times skaters use same musics. I just don't like the illogic theories. Why would they have chosen that music? Did they have no other idea at all? Did they want it to be uncomfortable for Daria? And? What would they achieve with it? This would be a totally unnecessary action for nothing

Sasha is an idol for Daria and she asked Daniil to do the exact same program for her. Let's not criticize the girl for this choice and support her desire to be like QQ

That's what I've said already in test skates thread yesterday, if there is any connection, this one is the only that makes sense. programs are not created from scratch just in may/june (or generally just during offseason), unless it's some emergency situation, many ideas live some time, others just wait for proper skater or till a skater grows up etc. So it is completely possible this idea existed already in TT for some time and both Daniil and Sergei-with-fangirls decided to use use it, without any conspiracy or ulterior intentions.

The only truly ridiculous idea is that TT waited with a program for Daria till the announcement from Angels and then they tacked something together during the forthnight before the test skates (or replaced something else).

For me the pick is not a problem, except the music edit was absolutely atrocious and it's not a first from Daniil sadly.

But the elements are concerning here even considering this is still early on in the season:

- The flip is her money jump considering it's part of her 3-3 combo, and none of the attempts here looked good.

- The lutz is still a flutz so she can't even transition to a 3ltz-3t in the long if the flip is not successful

- The axel i wonder if the 3a will ever happen now that Rozanov left, Daria's 2A is still nice while Maiia's 2a already looked smaller.

I don’t think Daria’s performance has to do with the fact that Rozanov is not there anymore. For me, it looks like a combination of the 4:

1. She still hasn’t recovered from quarentine time.
2. She looks a little injured considering some of her movements and face expressions while doing them.
3. She knows her music cuts are exactly the same as Sasha, and although it might not have been on purpose, she knows people on social media would discuss about and involve her in the controversy.
4. Her programs suck and she knows it.

It’s not out yet, only the music cuts were announced by Plushenko about 10 days ago.

I think with a 4 sal the edge goes to Sophia. Valieva will prevail on PCS, but it won't be by much. Sophia will have better GOE on basic triples and the 3A will push her tech score ahead. On the other hand, as much as I love Sophia's music and program, it is hard to be excited when this is the 3d year she has used it. This might hurt her down the road. Valieva has new programs.
